Disneyland Paris tickets question

Yes, we would find it hard to fault the hotel.FL wrote:Did you enjoy the hotel???
The kids loved the circus themed bunk beds, with the curtain and own TV. The breakfast buffet was good, and had enough variety that our two very picky children both managed to find enough to eat to keep them going until after the lunch rush.
There is an indoor pool, so you can wind down there after a hard day at the parks.
We did not eat any other meals apart from breakfast in the hotel. Looking at the menus they looked rather expensive and not too exiting. Hwever, there are free coaches to the station/park entrance every 10-20 minutes, and it is only a 7-8 minute journey. So you can pop to Disney Village to eat.
We went by Eurostar. We left our luggage at the station when we arrived, and it was taken to the hotel for us. So we walked straight into the park to make the most of our first day. Coming back, we left the luggage at reception in the morning, and picked it up at the station in the afternoon, ready to get on the train.[size=-2] If this post was unhelpful, please tell me.

It is worth noting you do not have to book th hotls at DLP as a package. The blackout are fairly limited and brooms only aat the hotels is a LOT cheaper than packages, even if you then only buy the tickets for the stay. Also the Fantasy AP is about 3 days worth of tickets in price, the more of there you are the more dicount you will get buying AP's. There were 5 of us and I think we got 20% off the AP's0

Where do you book the rooms at DLP and not get the pass thrown in. Every where I have seen includes the price of the hotle + the disney inc Expedia and the disney site.0 -
In our area the kids are getting their Easter holiday as the two weeks before Easter (they go back Tuesday after Easter Bank Holiday Monday), so the Fantasy pass will be fine. As I've now booked the hotel & travel for the first week of April, I'll probably take advantage of the 30 day pickup rule by booking sometime during March. Current price of €129 is valid until 31st March and I guess it's unlikely prices will go down! Anyhow, with the 20% discount it's cheaper than the 3 day pass.FL wrote:I think I might wait until I get there and see what the options are. I won't arrive until late pm the first day so should be quiet at the ticket office.
Many thanks to everybody who has posted in this forum about Disney Paris. Had I booked my 5 night trip at the Holiday Inn with park passes through the disneyparis web site it would have cost £939 (2A+1C). Using the information found here about booking direct with the Holiday Inn and buying annual passes it has cost me (subject to exchange rate) approx. £510! As we're also going with others the total savings are even higher :T0 -
You call Disney in Paris, on the 0870 and tell them you want a room only price. Occasionally you will get osmeone who will not want to give oyuone, so just hang up and call back. We have annual passes so always book this way and have not had any problems, apart from a few unknowledgable staff. Hotel Chyenne, last March was £52 a night for 4 of us.
For some busy time, Christmas etc, they may hold back on the room only rates, as tney make more with the packages, but it is often to book hotel and tickets seperalty. It is wporth doing the maths to see if it is. If you are going to use the free child places then it may not be.0 -
has anyone ever 'shared' an annual pass? do they have your photo on??0

What is the 30 day pick up rule? I agree with you that it is cheaper to book direct with hotel. Disney quoted me £620 for Holiday Inn and if we buy hotel +passes separatelyit will only cost us £538finallycruising wrote:In our area the kids are getting their Easter holiday as the two weeks before Easter (they go back Tuesday after Easter Bank Holiday Monday), so the Fantasy pass will be fine. yes, they are credit card size with your photo on. My friend worked on the gates at Disney last summer for her holiday job and if you're found using someone else's pass the pass is barred for the following three months.0 -
As I said in an earlier post in this thread, if you buy over the phone you have 30 days to pick them up at DLP and they will be deemed to start on the day you collect them. If it's more than 30 days they will be deemed to start on the day you purchased them.FL wrote:What is the 30 day pick up rule?

As a follow up to this, the people answering on the 0870 number aren't 'all singing from the same hymn sheet'! I called back to book my Annual Fantasy passes and was told they had to be booked at least 10 days in advance (even though they don't send you the tickets for the annual pass) and the 20% reduction for booking 5 people "was not showing on their screen".
I told them my reason for wanting to book in advance was that the prices were only valid until 31/3, so I wanted to get in before the price went up from £92. They then told me the price was going to be £89 from 1/4! Hence I was better off waiting to until we get there to book them. When I queried the 20% discount I was told to take a print out of the web page with me.
