Thanks for all the replies, cleared up my query. I will now go back and have a look to see what the best option is for us.

As to the getting cheap one day tickets question... I would suggest going on Ebay and getting one day hopper tickets, these are the multi day tickets, which have 1 day remaining on them. That way you can see both parks.

I am actually thinking of getting an annual pass as we are planning to go for 3 days. They cost c 129 Euros and you get lots of other benefits. We are not planning to stay in a Disney hotel where they will quote you for the cost of the holiday including the passes.

Does anyone have any idea if you actually buy a pass today at the rates online whether it can be used in the summer months. I am guessing that the price increases after March so might as well buy it at the cheaper price if that is the case.
  • Where are you seeing the annual pass rates quoted? I can't see anything longer than 3 days on the disneylandparis web site.

On another thread I've seen the Hoilday Inn recommended. It's around £55/night for a 3 bedded room with breakfast. With annual passes at 129 Euros it'll still be a lot cheaper than the £800+ wanted for 4 nights / 5 days at Sequoia lodge.

    Hi,
Just to confuse you the annual passes are on the French version of the website and apparently all the details come in French but at the end of the day it is still an entrance ticket.

    This link seems to work.

I am planning to buy mine when I get there. The more you buy the more money you get off as well. Well worth considering anyway.

We are planning to stay at the Holiday Inn as well due to all the good reviews on this website and https://www.tripadvisor.com

When we went in October, we stayed at the Holiday Inn on a package including entrance for 3 days. This was my 40th birthday present, and was organised by my wife, so I do not know exactly how she arranged it. However, she did it through Thomas Cook.

They are very probably not the cheapest option, but you can get combined deals for Holiday Inn and park entrance. I believe that they are available on the Disneyland Paris web site. From memory they are described as either "Partner Hotels" or "Close to the fun".

    Hi,
I rang them up directly and used Disney website. Disney were quoting £620 for 3 nights including passes.

We have worked out that if we book directly for a kiddisuite - ie big family room it is 144 Euros a night and with the annual pass at 129 euros each it works out at £550 or so.

    Did you enjoy the hotel???

Thanks for that. I see that the €129 annual ticket is for 335 days of the year. It excludes a lot of dates - mainly French public holidays, I'd guess. A full 365 day ticket is €179. Both options have a 20% discount if you buy 5 or more people at the same address.

Sounds like a good option as booking the Holiday Inn through the Disney site with park entrance included works out almost as expensive as the Sequoia Lodge.

I phoned the UK 0870 number and the operator didn't know much about the annual passes. However, after several times on hold we established they can book them but the passes have to be picked up at the Park. If you pick them up within 30 days of booking they are deemed to start on the day you get them. However, if more than 30 days elapses they are deemed to start on the day you booked them. They also confirmed the 20% discount for 5 tickets.

Alot of the dates that are blacked out on the cheaper pass are french holidays which we do not recognise. I thought it could be used during our main school holidays. I see easter and half term are ruled out. I think I might wait until I get there and see what the options are. I won't arrive until late pm the first day so should be quiet at the ticket office. I have not seen a discount anywhere for booking the hoppers early.
