  • Hi to everyone, hope everyone is well and somewhere warm and undercover – its grey and wet here!

    Today I shall:
    • Make sure OH turns down the heating, don’t need it so much as last night was warm, so can take it down a few notches and put an extra layer on instead
    • Ebay items that I didn’t yesterday – the queue was out the door at the post office and im very impatient
    • Use up gym membership with body attack class
    • LO pasta bale for lunch
    • Storecupboard meal for dinner
    • Daily scratchies
    • Check ebay as 2 items are finishing today – then relist the ones that didn’t sell
    • Online banking – moved £85.05 into savings yesterday, make sure it hasn’t left me in the poop just before pay day
    • Hopefully some more people will have paid into my quidco account
    • Look into book mooch to sell books that aren’t selling on amazon – does anyone do this and can they recommend it?
    • Arrange a free swim on Friday
    • Check piggypoints – had a blitz and signed up for a few things so hopefully ill have some more points
    • Wearing purple, blue and yellow stripy socks today!
    • Arrange cheap ice skating – our local park has a temp ice rink in Feb and my work does subsidised tickets so I want to get some, just call me Jayne Torvill!
    • LSD other than ebay

    Forgot to add that I am posting off an Amazon book today :)

    Also, Nectar points have been added for sluggy spinach - he added 2200 not 2000 so got lots of points to redeem onto gift card now!

    That cheese and potato pie sounds jolly nice and I think I will have it for lunch - sounds like nice comfort food for a poorly person!

    EDIT - tudorfan77, I have recently started using Bookmooch, it's good if the books you want to swap are in stock, otherwise not so great as you don't get any money, just points, and you have to pay for your own postage. On the flipside, if there are books you want, you get them sent to you for free.

    It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
    We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
    Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

    Afternoon all!!

    Feeling quite chirpy today as last afternoon at work till next Wednesday. Having a week off to potty-train my boy (but am trying to block that horrible thought from my mind!!)

    MrsAudus2b Lucky you with new phone, I'd love a new one! Also like the recipe you nicked from Piq....am going to give that a go!

    Lilian1977 Hope you are feeling better soon.

    Andan Hope you are feeling less blue today

    Here's my efforts for today:

    * Shopping at walmart - had lots of meat reduced to stocked up on some

    * Heating off as not too chilly here - just damp!

    * Washing at 30'c

    * Stocked up on some cheap boys pants for potty training

    * Charge mobile at work

    * Investigate on-line / distance learning...am feeling inspired by all of you studying!

    * Collect bag of groceries from my mums - she ordered me some stuff in with her shopping...I like freebies!

    Have a good afternoon everyone!

    Miss P
    xx
