  • Today

I am using public transport (saving £10.80 in bus fares due to my Bus Pass) or around £10 fuel and also saving on wear and tear etc.
    Sandwichwes for lunch.
    No spend day.
    Kitchen cupboard tea.
    Home made soup.
    Check on line savings accounts.
    Check Current Account balance.
Think about my long term goals - set a target or two. I am debt free and SMART Objectives work for me.
    Specific
    Manageable
    Achievable
    Realistic
    Time Framed.

I think I might set a target for public transport days for February ( I need to use my car for client visits from time to time)
Set a target for number of no spend days in February ( it's on another thread)
Try to work out how much I can put into savings NEXT month.
    Gosh I'm exhausted!!

    Hello everyone

Off work with a cold today, gah. Hate colds.

    So, today -

Checked banking - £4 cheque from Stagecoach bus refund has gone in, so moved across to Virtual sealed pot

Went to list some DVDs on Ebay only to find the free P&P on DVDs is NOT optional - rubbish! Will look into Music Magpie instead

    Daily scratchy x 2 - 10p and 20p

Will eat food planned for work meals, so stew and fruit for lunch

Check what film is coming next on Sofa Cinema free trial when it's allocated so can decide a time to watch it

Tidy house a bit as it's a bit of a shambles!

Quidco and Pigsback - nothing :(

    Have good days all xx

  • Rachelmk - Here is the receipe, copied and pasted direct from the horse's mouth - Piq's diary! :rotfl:

"The recipe is really easy and incredibly cheap and cheerful! Here it is:
    • Peel and slice as many potatoes as you want - depending on how many people it's for etc
    • Peel and slice a couple of onions
    • Grate plenty of strong cheddar
    • Start with a layer of potato then a layer of onion, and carry one until you're either bored or run out of space in the dish, but make sure the top layer is made up of potato
    • Make up about half a pint of vegetable stock, I use maigold boillion (sp?) and pour it over the potato and onion mix
    • Top with grated cheese and bake for about 40 minutes until the top layer of potatoes is crispy and the underneath soft and the stock has been absorbed
    • Enjoy!"
Good old Piq, hope you don't mind me copying from your diary my lovely....will catch up with you on there later :D

    xx
