Thanks Buffy.....I guessed you were a teacher. So many teachers I know at the moment are fed up with their job - they love teaching, it's all the other carp ie. paperwork, planning etc that gets them down.

My daughter wants to become a teacher (KS1 probably) and I haven't got the heart to discourage her as I think it's such a worthwhile job, but so disillusioning sometimes.
YOUR = belonging to you (your coat); YOU'RE = you are (I hope you're ok)

really....it's not hard to understand :T

    Evening all

    Things I have learnt today.

    1. my bosses DO NOT care about me. not one little bit.

    2. I was an idiot to be honest and admit to having problems NEVER show weakness to the big boss cos my God do they use it against you!

    3. Next time I get this behind in my work I will simply take the day off and catch up.

it is a just a job.

    xxx
    Hi Buffy

Admitting to having problems shows that you care about your job and have a sense of resonsibility and commitment towards your work. Trying and failing and failing to try are two entirely different things. It is also not a sign of weakness but a strength that you are able to identify with such problems. If your bosses are using this against you then that is quite clearly wrong; Signs of stress and things getting out of control can be manifested by unusual behaviour and destructive behavioural patterns that would not normally be associated with you. Be careful that you dont concentrate your energies on what you dont want. I have been through something very similar at work recently and I know what you must be feeling like. Hope that didnt sound like bollox x

    Evening everyone:wave:

I have split my tights right down the middle when going to the loo at work so have spend most of the evening in quite litereally two seperate legs of a pair of tights with only the waistband holding them together. I couldnt take them off cause I have milk bottle/corned beef legs:eek:

Good job there are no floor mirrors where I work:rotfl:

Snaggs, really sorry you cant make Manchester:(

Buffy sometimes I find my job a total PITA but I rarely have to bring any work home, do you get any PPA time on your timetable? To me it sounds as though your department could do with another member of staff.
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.
