I wouldn't shout at you. I agree with you! If you don't ask you don't usually get. Whenever I buy any cosmetic type stuff, usually for pressies, I always ask for free samples...and I've had lots from Body shop, clarins, Space NK, John Lewis and lots of others. If they were going to cause companies to make a loss they wouldn't do it...it's good marketing.Wombling £457.410

thanx sashacat i have teh same idea. for valentines and our anniversary me and my fella have a limit of £10 per pressie and so i save a bit and went to kendals and got him 2 clarins men products for £10.50 each and there was a gift on and i got four big samples and a bag and i also asked for some extra samples for him.:T The best things in life are FREE! :T0 -

Hey freebie_junkie.
Ive gotta say, your posts have always been a great help to me and I dont think you're taking the mickey but are genuinely trying to help people save money. By requesting free samples, this enables us to decide which product we prefer so that we dont fork out a fortune for something we dont like. By giving out the free samples, Lush is ensuring that the customer will shop there again and again, hopefully introducing a few more customers through word of mouth. Its a win win situation. :j0 -
It's weird, I'm not allergic to anything really but everything that I've tried so far from Lush makes my skin very sore and red. I've asked for samples in Brighton and was told quite snootily that I couldn't have any. I was quite surprised as it seems like the kind of place that would do it.:smileyhea "here, hare, here" :smileyhea0
