Ooops.
Epic Fail yesterday... Accidentally tripped up and landed in the canteen with 65p in hand and facing the Lentil Soup. So yesterday ended up being a £1.15 spend day.... sorry ....
Todays lunch is a bit naff - Cheese sandwiches and 2 oranges.
BUT
Last night I made the Banana Flapjacks which Lilian1977 recommended and they are quite possibly the greatest flapjack I have ever tasted. I crushed up some hazelnuts, walnuts and pecans and boshed them into the mix too.
DELICIOUS
Hope you all have a great Friday, and a great weekend.

Today I have:
HM stew
HM apple & banana flapjack
Pot of £1.57 for 8 Activia yoghurt
Tupperware with a small amount of £1 Tesco pineapple and free Graze box grapes (to eat with yoghurt)
Apple and Orange from fruit bowl
Small bottle filled with Orange juice from big carton at home
I am hungry!
EDIT - glad you enjoyed the flapjacks Rich, now you'll never throw a banana away again! They work best when the bananas are very overripeGet yourself to Aldi or Lidl, big big bags of nuts at very cheap prices.

Maybe we could rename the thread the Secret recipes for the best flapjack ever. I'm sure they'd come flooding in!
I'm going to try baking some over the weekend (going to swipe a banana from my folks house! - very DFW!)
I think you'll find 1978 was even better than 1977!A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
