Hi Deals - go to www.tinypic.com and upload there. Then copy and paste the xxxxx.jpg bit into a post here and that's it.

Flickr is an alternative though you need to register there, but have more control over the images (i.e. can delete).

Don't forget to blank out any details (car reg, PCN serial number, name, address)

Nearly there, but you need to click on the photo, click "All Sizes" (this displays the largest size = easier to read) then simply copy and paste the link ending with .jpg into your post. Do that for each photo.

P.S: You haven't blanked out the PCN Serial number or tax disc info ;)

can we make any claim at all or is this limited to 5 mns over (think a builder mentioned to us). thanks for any advice.
I parked here; http://www.mansfield.gov.uk/index.aspx?articleid=1328
Pool Council owned , Cafe and Carpark the same.
The reason we were a few minutes late and I mean a few, three maybe, was because I was spending loads on feeding the children, not only mine, friends of my dd. Spending money in the Cafe owned by the Council.

Exit and have a ticket.

Another, caught like me, decided to remonstrate with the ticket guy. Not violent, just angry.

A police car arrived, all lights blazing. Five, yes 5 coppers got out and confronted the other person.

I sent an appeal, this was long ago, and said I wouldn't be back at that venue if the fine stood.

I had to pay the £25. More bloody fool them. Never have I returned and nor will I. Ever.

The lost revenue from my own child and that of her friends, entrance, lots to eat etc, is manyfold that of my parking ticket at £25.00.
More fool you Mansfield.
But why am I surprised, councils live off our money after all. .

I am furious! Went to drop dh off where he parks today (outside his dad's house in residents parking) to find some over zealous traffic warden has issued him a ticket for not having a residents permit! This was on the dashboard in the window right under where the moron stuck the ticket! Now he issued the ticket at 7.00pm so I'm assuming because it was dark they don't have or he didn't use a torch to see there was a pass clearly visible! Dh took pics with his phone but this is the second time this has happened! My question is he was advised to pay and then appeal but I don't think this is right, why should the council benefit from my money whilst they decide this idiot was in the wrong! Am I right? Dh is worried that they will double the fine if not paid within 14 days.

Becs - what the warden said was wrong - if you pay you admit liability and lose the right to appeal. What a bafty crastard to suggest that!

I suggest you start a new thread and scan in PCN (both sides, remove personal details as per welcome sticky thread).

I have occasionally stopped at lights at a particular junction in Walthamstow and seen traffic wardens taking pictures of cars (presumably those parked w/o tickets). Is there a standard procedure for the photographic evidence that should be taken / what particulars need to be captured?

Dont know which borough you received your PCN from but i can tell you i live on the border of Camden and Islington and if you are caught 5 secs over let alone five minutes you are well at risk of catching yourself a lovely fine! parking attendants these days practise a very fine art they know exactly where and how they will be able to dish out tickets! so sorry i reckon you may have been caught well and truly with your pants down on this one .... try establishing if the ticket was produced legally or not.. ie incorrect road markings etc this site can be very useful....
