Hello all, the Deals may not know how to scan and put a photo up here and to be honest i dont know either. (and I suspect lots of others too)

Can someone go thru the instructions and teach us.

Well i'm a bit of an IT numpty but even I found it easy.

there is a sticky about somewhere but i recall reading it and disagreeing? I certainly won't touch anything from photobucket which i think is what it recommends.

Go to 'Tinypic'. Big advantage - you do not have to register.

Holding images on your PC you will already have washed them of personal details by using the eraser in Windows 'Paint'.

upload an image to tinypic by clicking on 'choose' then double clicking the file in your PC then clicking 'upload' on tinypic.

open a reply window here. On tinypic a table appears mid screen with several URLs. Copy the full URL 'IMG code for forums --' and paste that into the reply box here.
For further images, repeat the process before you hit the 'submit' button here.

Not sure how this forum works but on most you won't see the images until you go back into the thread afterwards.
Tinypic sizes automatically - DO NOT fiddle with anything.

I don't see any reason why you should not start a new thread headed 'IMAGE TEST' and then post something. Others wishing to try could follow in that thread - bloody good idea actually!

Good idea, or alternatively, you can find one of your own previous posts, click on Edit and post it there to see if it works or not and then re-edit the post by deleting it and re-post it in the relevant thread

Hi Deals - go to www.tinypic.com and upload there. Then copy and paste the xxxxx.jpg bit into a post here and that's it.

Flickr is an alternative though you need to register there, but have more control over the images (i.e. can delete).

Don't forget to blank out any details (car reg, PCN serial number, name, address)
