i won but now they have taken my prize away !!! gutted :(

Seems totally unfair to me.
Now if they had said in their email "you have to reply within 2 hours" or something like that then it would be understandable but this just seems very unfair. I would be fuming.

Ouch sorry to hear that, I think the major problem here is that there are no T&C's, which shows that they may not be as trustworthy as everyone thinks, as it leaves everyone open to not recieving their prizes.

Sorry to hear of the stress you have.. hope it all gets sorted.
With a few wins, especially tickets, which often can turn up late, I have learnt to be careful what i tell the kids. I try to tell them after I have the tickets in my hands as companies can let you down and the kids dont understand.

Thats awful. I feel really sorry for you. As a mum I appreciate that it's more annoying because it lets the kids down than if it had a been a night out for you and OH.

I'd be very tempted to email him back saying that you are very disapointed as this has let down your children and as a site devoted to entertaining children you are sure they will appreciate your disappointment. See if you get anywhere, if not then a threat to contact institute of sales promotion normally works wonders with them finding a "prize".

He could have had the decency to send a reply that actually made sense!
So sorry hun, must be so disappointing. I'd still try emailing him again and asking what he is prepared to offer you, to make up for his mistake in this competition.

I tend to only tell the kids that things are coming...well..when they are already here! I have had so many problems in the past with things not turning up etc...

...that's so bad though as he didn't send an email to explain until after you complained..... as soon as he found out then you should have been given a full explanation surely? ....

They're running other comps that haven't been drawn yet, so could at least offer an alternative, no? Also threaten to contact the prize sponsors, maybe?
