No, back at work next week so i have lots of paperwork to do to prepare myself for the shock of the real world. Oh, and of course its back to school next week so i have some bits to get for my eldest daughter.

    What about you?

I think we all seem to have really motivated ourselves over the past month to get ahead. Won't it be nice to have it all gone, once and for all?

My two don't go back to school until 7th (I think!), so we will do bits of uniform shopping (courtesy of child benefit that went in today!)......and I have some work in my garden to do before all the digging I did last week gets wasted as the weeds take up residence again!

I do think we are pretty motivated right now - long may it last :D

Not made any payments this week

Going through a bit of a dry patch as a result of my 4 weeks off.

However, i am still waiting for some money to come in and i have done my billing for this week (such as it is) so i shall not start panicking just yet. I have about £400 left to get me through the month for food and petrol etc. I cannot risk making any HMRC payments until i get some more money in.

Very annoying really but largely self inflicted i suppose.

Hope you are all ok xxxx

You needed that break and I am sure you will be better for it - so not self inflicted - but self medicated we all need to remember to be kind to ourselves at times on our debt free journey - you will be stronger for it.

    ^^^^^ what she said.

anyone who is self employed, or relies on overtime/productivity bonus etc will find that they have to play "catch up" after a time away, and even just a week's holiday or sickness can make a big difference to a tight budget.

BUT......recent history says that you will catch up before you know it....and HMRC will be happy bunnies.

    Have a good weekend x
