Don't know what to do. I am so worried about finance. The money I earn doesn't even cover half the mortgage let alone the bills. I don't want to move because of the children but I think that I am going to have to.Huge hugs honey, and you do have a friend - PM when you are about and I will pop over...
In the mean time, don't worry (easier said than done I know) Is this definite? has it been going on for a while or is it a spur of the moment thing because of all the stress you are both under with DH's job?
You have many options and you will be looked after because you have children, so you will not be homeless or unable to pay rent/council tax, ect, you will be able to get help. Plus listen to Valli - she knows these things and what she said about the solicitors is true - I know Palmers do it as I have used their service myself, and there are plenty of others too... If you need me to go with you, let me know... I can't be there all the time because of work and stuff, but will be there when I can so just shout, I don't mind (I will tell you if I can't talk, don't worry...:D )
Take care of yourself... I'm back and have a bag of rubbish and a bag for the charity shop. Did well over 60 things as near the end emptied about 50 half burned tea lights!! I wasn't super ruthless so think I can do a few more over the weekend. What fun!
carlsbergal - the lady at my bank offered to do me some certified copies of the marriage cert, most places will accept those. We actually got the church to give us 3 copies anyway and I only had to send one off a couple of times!
Friend has texted about a million times with updates on her train, I need to look online as she seems to have no idea when she gets in. Before I leave I want to put some washing in for DH to switch on when he gets in and wash up.
We've decided against our thames path walk tomorrow, partly cos of the weather and partly bc DH is getting on well with study. I'm quite happy as I have a lot of walks at work next week and would like a lazy weekend in!Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -

mojt - ((((hugs)))) listen to Valli, she knows what she's talking about, and I'm sure there are others on hear who can advise
fbb - DON'T PANIC start by clearing up, putting away or throwing out all the stuff that's in the way of the cleaning. Then work out where you'll be spending the most time - make sure the loo, bathroom and kitchen are clean, and the living room is cosy (a quick vacuum & dust, plus plumping up the cushions should do). If they're staying, then make sure that the room they're using is clean, tidy and welcoming (folded towels on the end of the bed and a flower in a vase seem like small touches, but show you've made an effort and distract from other things!).
If you've got stuff that is homeless, can you bung it under your bed for the moment, hidden by a bedspread? Promise yourself that you'll deal with it all when they've gone!
Work crisis... why, on a Friday, when I've got the day off?!
Must get myself dressed and on the train to London!0
