Hi all, couldn't get up today, literally forced myself out of bed at 1pm, otherwise I'd have quite happily slept through. Dunno what's up with me.

    So not done much. :o

However confirmed with the bank that empire direct kindly took the money on the 12th of this month so that's it, £250 down the swanny. Humph!

Managed to cancel a couple of Direct debits one for Olive mag offer of a £1.00 but will rise to more and I'll forget so cancelled now.;)

The other was my DD1's gym membership, she hasn't gone for months so it was a very expensive swimming session she's had over last year.

Posted a letter and tried to sort out the computer, it won't download any updates and there is a blank screen where system restore was! It's also very slow to start so I've defragged, cleaned up files, looked in safe mode , rebooted and tried without joy to install updates . Now running virus scan and will have to see if that makes a difference.

Bought some reduced tea from sainsbugs which has been zapped in the microwave.

    Got fire going.

    Fed cat and chickens.

Sorted out home phone answering machine which had switched itself off.So re-recorded message and set it back up.

Sick note from work only lasts until tomorrow and I truly feel rancid, sorry guys but no real change in pain, could sit and sob but it'd only make me feel considerably worse.

Oh and hubby has to go for an op re his sinus/mouth hole, will be under a general
anaesthetic not local so he's not looking forward to that. Hopefully we can be all healed by spring.:o

Right going to do another 60 thing fling cos I like that and I want to change my siggy.:D

I know green and ethical aren't the same thing - but they are (IMHO) connected. I bank ethically actually (glow) and try to be as green as possible...

hang on a minute - ithn't ethics where Flower lives?:rotfl:

I'll stop being mean to you and save it for the people who don't make an effort!

I do think it's funny that you bank ethically and have shares in a dodgy bank, and soappie encourages us all to shop locally and owns shares in a dodgy supermarket :rotfl: Next step for you both... invest ethically!

I have wiped down the hall/stairs paintwork, tidied my handbag drawer (it's a big drawer), dusted the living room and hall and wiped down all the surfaces, so my list is shrinking. Just heating up some chicken/mushroom/pasta/soya bean stuff from the freezer, then I'm ready to go to yoga.

When I get back, I need to get myself ready for work (including working out what to wear - thanks for reminding me toots ;) ), and if I manage to get a decent night's sleep and wake up on time, I'll go for a quick swim before work.

a girl after my own heart. I have one of those little old fashioned men's wardrobes with shelved down and that's where I keep almost all my handbags...I love buying bags and shoes...

Rach have saved that link - many thanks - because I will have to do another one in about 5 weeks...

Sexy (If it was you) first copy your link from the relevant page (ie the URL) at the top then to link to a word in your post you highlight the word you want to link to then click on the pic of the world with glasses next to the mountain with the envelope on on the row with B I U on, paste your link (I always have to delete what's already there) and voila - well that's more or less how AnWsMum described it to me...

Spent most of my HHC washing dishes! DH had rinsed a fatty casserole dish this morning so all the dishes in the sink were covered in cold fat. So not the best use of my time - the only other thing I did was put a 95 soda crystals wash on and put my pjs on. Getting the kids sorted for bed now and then I'll be up for another HHC 7.30 - 8.
