Today I have done... absolutely nothing!!
Well, you obviously needed to do nothing - I know you cope with everything thrown at you, but sometimes it catches up, and you've been worried about your sis and niece so no wonder - enjoy the break and don't let that you've done nothing get to you (I know!)

Evening all
Full of a yucky cold, but at least I have finished the redundancies at work so I can stop being depressed (at least until the tribunal applications start rolling in......).
Feel quite rough so nothing done but the DW atm. Really need to hoover (as always). Can't do any washing as the TD plug is getting very hot and DH doesn't have time to fix it till the w/end.
Very impressed with all the 60 item flings, I will join you tomorrow. Trying to decide if I should go into Leicester for one of the Lush grabbit bags first thing though. Not necessary spending, and probably not a habit I should be developing.
Dusty - have you thought of a hot bed for early veg a la Geoff Hamilton? There are instructions on the barnsdale gardens website.
Soappie you are right about a two year delay on asparagus but they do crop for up to 20 years. We put some in here two years ago, this will be the first time they crop which I am really looking forward to.
Nicki - I sympathise! My BMI and BP are similar, and with diabetes/strokes/high cholesterol in the family and a DH who is 10 years older than me I know I need to do something about it hence current fitness/healthier eating drive. A lot more motivating than an 'I want to be thin again' fantasy I think.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -

Hi,
Hope everyone is well & welcome newbies/returners. Today I've attended a meeting, done errands, babysat my great-nephew & done laundry0 -
Hi Everyone
Another good day for decluttering - not so hot on the list though. Study has had a super scrub and you can actually see some surfaces again.
I just love hearing everyone's exploits, it definitely provides inspiration.
Mudbath/Triker I am amazed at you fervour - will there be anything left in your houses? Will you start to fling furniture and children away in a frenzy ..
Good vibes to all that need them0 -
Whenever I do my wiifit test it gets to the BMI bit and says 'too high' lol. Though for my BMI to be in the right range I would have to be 4 stone lighter than I am now, I may be overweight but I'm not that overweight! I don't think BMI really works for short women with big breasts!!
Right, I have been on the computer in front of the tv for too long and won't sleep if I continue so I will go and do DH's lunch for tomorrow, make a cuppa and pack my work bag. Then I'm going to see how much of the kite runner I can read before I cry!Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -

Haven't heard of them before - just had a quick check, looks good.... and I've never taken offence at any essex girl comments - after all, I'm a Londoner...;) (Saaaaf London by the way...)

Mmmmmm, I need my furniture, but throwing out the kids will not only help with decluttering, it will stop mess building up too...
Flying front - I HAVE ENTERED JANS ACCOUNTS ! whoop whoop whoop! Am determined to stick to my 'just get it done' attitude, seems to be working at the moment...
I'm at work tomorrow and hopefully rest of the week (need the money.. ) so not so much flying for me, and upstairs needs it too...
