I too 'love' the M25! how many miles per week do you do?

On average I do about 1200 miles per week, and know most motorways etc on a very personal basis!!

Varies depending on what days I work, but about 120 - 150 miles a day when I go up there - 250 miles a day would drive me insaine, how do you do it?

No, I go around the estate at the back (mainly Homesense, Ikea, TK Maxx, Matalan, etc) not the shops (oooh, too tempting) so they open at 9am so we will be fine (Ikea is at 10 or 11 I think so leave that till last and for coffee...;) ) I have to be back by 1.30 too as appointment at 2pm...

Will confirm later as need to check if/what I need to get, but if not, we'll sort something else out...

ETA: I have got washed and dressed, sorted my bedroom (just need to clean in there and make bed now) and have washing sorted into colours/whites/towels ready to put on, but still not done the bathroom... mmmm, what is it putting me off... RIGHT, jumping in now, I may be a while... :):)

  • Just listening to the news and Gordon Brown moaning about the wildcat strikes and blaming it on not enough trades in the country and doing apprenticeships - if not enough skilled labour, why are lots of people I know who are skilled workers unable to get jobs? that is a rubbish reason as to why they are taking foreign labour over our men - I agree with the apprenticeships, I think we need them, but...... Ooooh, sorry ladies, but because Hubby will probably be on strike now tomorrow and it is his and my friends that are striking at Lindsay Oil, I get so mad and protective... sorry again, just needed to vent... better get off my soapbox
This has been coming for so long...

    Morning everyone,:hello:

I have quickly skimmed through the thread, but can't remember much:o
Soappie - well done on the tiling:T
Hugs and a candle lit for Diva and Tris

I actually feel like I've had a good nights sleep. Didn't go to bed till 1.00am and then I read my book for a bit. Got up at 8.10am and feel quite refreshed for once.

DH and DS are off to football in a minute so it'll just be me and DD. Gonna sling her in the bath in a mo and get her washed and hair washed ready for school tomorrow. I hate doing it on a Sunday evening.

I have to dye my hair at some point today and have my bath reday for tomorrow. Plus DS will need a shower when he gets back from football, so not much point in cleaning the bathroom till late this afternoon or tonight.

Right off to locate my list from further back in the thread somewhere and then a gentle potter abot I think.

juliejim could your neighbour not do it online, the insurance is found automatically (same as the MOT) and can use the number off the renewal form

It was her plan to do it online but she can't find her renewal either so she hasdn't get her VIM? no she needs.

No, you just need registration and log book - it's the number about halfway down the front page (think they are in 3 blocks of 4 but click on the question mark and it tells you) I didn't have my renewal but did it from that yesterday... ;)

Right, I am REALLY going to do bathroom now...

I have never done 'cold' and I'm getting worse as I get older. Need the house warmed up before I venture out of my pit.

    Morning All

I've been up since about 6.30, DH went to work at 8 so cam on here then and have been catching up a bit. I wish someone would have warned me when it was 8.15 though and told me to get the chicken out of the oven instead of me suddenly realising it was 9am when I finished reading the thread!

So far I've loaded the TD and sorted out a drawer - going to load the WM in a min and get dressed. MY parents are picking the kids up at 10 to take them to visit my grandparents so I'll be starting my HHCs @ 10.15!
