But, bed is finally made. The dog is warming it up for me. I shall go turn things off, brush my teeth and then flop into my pit.

pigpen sounds as like his GF is having a rough time of it, bless her. Pleased to hear Tabitha is doing well! Oh and report that foster carer, I would, she's paid (very well) to do her job properly. I didn't think with her being 16 they would have put her in foster. £3500 wow!
wilf55 good luck to your DD and good luck with the decorating
    nicki good luck
soappie, aww bless you, I know I would be the same with the comment from DS. Oh and I also use my car as an overflow but it's mainly fluids in there at present.
EssexHebridean it's lovely when someone else notices isn't it
rosepink hope you both feel better soon
SGT I could do with some of that actually, £1.55 is a lot cheaper than Kleeneze
Kiwisaver, welcome, we have another NZ member :)
greenbee good luck with the CD
Mudbath you got any steristrips? Might be better if he won't go. I'm always sticking my DP back together because he's the same.
SarahS :rotfl: @ the blaming on the local kids, you meanie!

Oh soappie, she's an English Springer isn't she? My dogs crossed with one of those and a black labrador, so he's the chestnutty brown springers have but looks more lab. He's shorter than a lab, with floppy ears! My friend has springers and said they used to dock the tails so they could stick it up at you in a very 'giving you the finger' fashion when you told them to do something :rotfl:

Managed to do an hours solid studying which went ok, so far so good. I am finding it easier than the Maths as it's actually interesting not just numbers, I do like numbers but I am sure you know what I mean.

I've got to get DP up at 9am tomorrow, he's still planning on being out helping with the track. I need to do about the same as I have today in study time. I need to see what DPs got planned for his aswell. Oh and tomorrow DPs deciding he's trying to eat more healthy, this will be fun, again!
One day I might be more organised...........

Well I did it... I have a budget. Its a bit tight, but it allows me to put money away for Christmas, School trips, a monthly amount for DD's Brownies subs (which I'll transfer back as I spend it), pocket money for DD (which will be used for days out and stuff that she wants to do), and £200 a month in debt repayment :D It only leaves me with £12 a month "spare" but I'm pretty sure that I can get away with spending less than £150 a month on groceries. ;) Plus my "savings" will be going into a seperate account which has a higher interest rate so I can transfer the interest earnt back each month. I also know I can cut back on some of my bills (like reducing my gas/elec & BT bills) and also I won't have the interest on my overdraft at the amount I've budgeted for every month so every little helps! :D However I've just gone to log into my bank to shift what should have been Januarys savings over, and I can't get on so they must be doing something.

On the flying front I've been doing laundry and watched my DVD from Lovefilm so thats ready to return ;)

    Sundays list :
    • Laundry
    • Wrap ebay parcel
    • Dishes
    • Timesheet
    • Sort ebay stickers out (someone has cancelled an order)
    • Transfer savings around
    • Ironing
    • Stuff ready for DD for school Monday
    • Shopping list for stuff I need from town on Monday
Right, I guess I should head for bed since its 2.41

  • Morning All

Thanks Flower, you weren't rambling, and I know exactly what you mean. There's nothing urgent or life threatening here, just some big stuff that will take time to work through. :) It's fab knowing I can come and talk about it all here tho!
    I hope you've slept better.

I've got DD2's mate coming over this morning, they have a real love/hate relationship... and this child has a tendency to talk in a singsong voice the whole time... gets very irritating.... I'll keep myself busy and out of the way though!

Finally bought paint for the LR... ( I was thinking about doing it before my birthday... hmmmm.... that didn't happen then. ;) ) Anyway, I'll just crack on with it this week while the children are at school. That's one of my decisions - not to wait for OH to want to do the task with me... he's never ever going to want to decorate/sort out storage solutions/do the garden etc etc. That's a big realisation..... and one I'm not entirely sure I'm happy to live with. We all absorb a lot... I'm not sure I'm prepared to absorb everything!!!

Anyway.... my coffee won't brew itself, so I'm off to strap up my puppies, ( put my bra on !! :D ) and get the espresso pot a-bubbling.

    See you all later
