    Morning all

Lil-me - yes a liver and white English springer. Her tail is intact. But she still manages to give me the finger with it occasionally!

I'm surprisingly not too stiff this morning. Very grey weather this morning. I think the first thing I need to do is pop the BM on if I'm to have bread with breakfast then go depoop the back garden just in case we get snow. Don't want to have little surprises under it!

Then, as soon as the shops open, I need to go and buy a manual tile cutter because I'm a wuss. I also need to get a joint of meat out the freezer for dinner tonight. DS wants it earlyish as his playing some computer game or something with others tonight.

    Morning Soappie,
Just a point to remember when picking up your manual cutter - get one that cuts floor tiles - they're really hard to cut with a manual cutter as they are so much thicker than wall tiles, so get a heavy duty one and some spare blades too if you can, they blunt quite quickly...;)

    Morning all,

    I cannot sleep.

    Ironing done and put away
    Socks paired and sorted
    Floors done
    All dailies done
Going to portion up the 2 soups I made yesterday and freeze them.

Mudders ~~ men and toes, tell him to get to hospital and get it sorted, when he goes to put socks and shoes on, I reckon be will be hell, but men DO know best.

Soappie ~~ glad your son is so thoughtful, how old is he?

nicki ~~ being nosey now, what sort of stickers do you sell on ebay

Off to read the rest of the thread now and try to find myself some thing else to do.

Hugs for those that need them

    morning :hello:
is it getting colder by the day?!? i've put my long pj trousers on last night and i am thinking of getting another duvet  - i don't have the heating on upstairs (only bathroom or when someones ill) - but i never needed it so far!!!!! hmm.gif

aww soappie that sure was a [STRIKE]sobbing[/STRIKE] lovely thing to do from you ds!!! keep him :D

Flower great list with your 5 good points!!!! i had to laugh at nr. 1 though and saw you playing with powerranger figures character0028.gif

Essex what a nice compliment!!! keep up the good work!! :T

rosepink i can tell you are enjoying your 'new' house'! and right so, make the best of it!!

and greenbee?? are you still asleep?!? :D

toots i think flowers idea is great! you have to plan your ecdl into your dailies and set some time when to do it! - give it a try, if it's not working you can still change it!
how's the knitting? need a new number?! ;)

oh has just come home and said it's freeeeeeezing today. so i guess no park for us :D - i need to go shopping though, will be a quick rush around me finks!

    so plan for today:

    wm
    td
    dw
    sweep floors
    keep everything tidy
    shopping list + shopping
    dinner (beef stew)
    put washing away

house looks tidy to the eye so i guess next thing is flying into the cupboards

Haha, had to go back to see what you meant then.... yes, figures as in numbers not power rangers...:rotfl:

Thanks for the update Soappie - it's already FREEZING here - and I hate the cold. Hubby has just called and told me that if I HAVE to travel (and I do...) to put thermals in the car and a blanket and make sure my phone is totally charged up as they are predicting really bad weather over the next few days... He even told me to turn the heating up... (not a normal request from my OH...) Mmmm, M25 might be a bit of a challenge this week then and we are manic busy too - things that can't be left.... I love my job but I hate that I have to drive so far to work... :(

Oooh, MOJT - On Thursday I may have to go shopping at Lakeside for one of the developments - fancy a trip??? (spending other peoples money on stuff - great fun and we get to have a free coffee in Ikea too!)

ETA: OK, washing on, previous load hung out on airer to dry, I'm still not dressed (might be why I'm cold) but had breakfast. Lounge is done and finished and I'm about to hit the bathroom (keep putting that off for some reason)...

Fly-Flo - Monday and Tuesday look pretty bad for most of England. We may even get some snow here on the south coast

BM is on and beef is out of the freezer defrosting. I'm on my second cuppa. As soon as that's finished I shall get dressed and go depoop the garden, unload and reload the DW, stick the old vinyl in the car ready to take to the dump and maybe start measuring up the tiles that need to be cut so it'll be quicker to finish when I get back home.

I too 'love' the M25! how many miles per week do you do?

On average I do about 1200 miles per week, and know most motorways etc on a very personal basis!!
