    Morning everyone,

Had a relaxing birthday breakfast in bed this morning, so not long up going out for lunch and then shopping later.

I need to get the ironing up to date and get the school uniform washed for tomorrow morning, but going to have another cuppa and a catch up here.

Soup is simmering at the moment. Hope it turns out ok. Never made this soup before (sort of a cross between the american potato soup and our potato and leek soup) as I've adapted a couple of recipes.

OH has just called to see when it'll be ready so we can go for our walk. Suppose I'd better get dressed whilst it's simmering. OH left the kitchen in a terrible mess last night after cooking his curry so will have lots of flying to do in there when I am dressed.

I'd better put a load of washing on too or I won't have any work clothes or gym stuff to wear tomorrow.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

nicki ~~ being nosey now, what sort of stickers do you sell on ebay
I sell Panini swaps, you know the albums that kids like to fill ;) - at the minute its Harry Potter Order of the Phoenix, Magical World of Harry Potter, High School Musical 3 and Disney Pretty Princess stickers :o They've cost me a small fortune to buy (although I cut the cost by buying them by the box on ebay and therefore more or less halving the cost ;) ). DD is funding the purchase of the stickers bought on ebay by selling her swaps. Once she's paid me back she gets to keep the profits (from the sale of the stickers and anything else of her's that ends up on there) and it will go in her savings tin which is apparently going towards a Wii

Nicki well done on your budget, you've come on leaps and bounds since this time last year, you should be proud of yourself :T x
Thank you :o There was so much I wanted to do before I hit 30 which I never did (mind you when I turned 20 I wasn't exactly planning on having a baby, I just wanted to settle down with my now ex :o:rotfl: ) so I've set myself the goal of doing it before DD goes to senior school which is September 2012:eek: and alot closer than my 40th. That includes completing my degree :eek: My target of learning to drive is my 40th though ;):rotfl:

Well DD is out with ex. He gave me some advice as to how to get a new powerpack for my laptop - doesn't exactly bode well for me when he's had 15 for his and he's an ICT technician

My next job is to sort out my bookcase - I need to be able to reach files without clobbering myself .

    Achieved so far today :
    • Beds made
    • Dry washing put away
    • a box of "bits" sorted and DD has put her stuff away (there's xmas stuff in there to go away though  )
    • Wash load 2 of 3 now in the machine  Had to wash some of DD's school stuff twice yesterday as it was so dirty and didn't come out in its normal wash even using Daz & soda crystals so had to be washed again on its own  Then this morning I found a pile of clothing in DD's room which needed washing as she'd spilt stuff down them
    • TD on
    • Batch of dishes done - pans now soaking for washing later.
    Still to do :
    • Declutter programmes from freeview box ;):rotfl:
    • Bookcase sort out.
    • Laundry
    • Wrap ebay parcel
    • Dishes
    • Timesheet - partly done. Will take a pen with me to make sure I've done it right and make any corrections.
    • Sort ebay stickers out (someone has cancelled an order)
    • Transfer savings around
    • Ironing
    • Stuff ready for DD for school Monday
    • Shopping list for stuff I need from town on Monday
Guess I best get on
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!
