Morning all. I am feeling less than joyous because I feel quite a bit better so I don't feel I can legitimately take the day off tomorrow...I am not 100% and still coughing but I have much more energy. Have 2 loads of washing on the line - it's sunny and cold in Vallliland but it seems to be blowing dry nicely:D despite the fact that it is trying to snow.
I have put away yesterday's ironing and ironed another batch - I have shouted at DS who seems to think I am going to stand on a football pitch watching him - don't think it's a good idea today TBHDon't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Have wasted a load of time over the last few days doing things I hadn't planned on and now I'm in a bit of a flap as day shifts are looming and will leave me not much time to fly and study (drat have just dipped my cardi in my tea and now have a lovely damp patch on it and my top - wonder if it will come out if I suck it - i wondered why my front was getting warm)
Will delegate the stuff in green to my DH - that will cut down my list and get cracking on a HHC at 1215 - anyone around to join me?
BTW
:bdaycake: Happy birthday jjef :bdaycake:I'd rather be watching CSI!0 -
Nom, nom, nom! Just tasted my potato soup and it's gorgeous. Well worth all of the effort to make it and OH tried it and liked it too. Off for our walk in a minute - later than I'd planned, but looking forward to the soup when we get back.
Will do the flying when we've eaten cos there's loads of washing up to do from the cooking so may as well add our soup bowls to it.

sexymouse enjoy the walk, would have told him it'd be ready when the kitchen was tidy myself
juliejim well done!
Well we had a slight splatter of snow earlier and it's very very cold, hibernate time! Dogs been out because DP took him, he had a right huff when I said he'd have to wait to go out so I could take him and took him insteadbonus. Anyway he's gone out, I need to root in the deepest parts of the freezer to see if there is any blanched veg for tea to save me going out, actually, I might need to go for other stuff, bother. Actually think I might have talked myself into shopping before the snow comes.
I've got some laundry to catch up on aswell today, will stick a load on in a mo then check freezer/fridge and make the boys get dressed. I hate shopping with them but I hate driving in icey conditions more! Hope you all have a nice day xOne day I might be more organised...........

it's now snowing so washing off line - but it wasn't a waste of time as it has begun to dry - sort of half dry so won't need long in the TD. I am running almost all of it through the TD in two batches. So while I was sorting that I got the wellies out of the shed so that they, and my hiking boots, will be in the car 'just in case'. I have also put a blanket, hat, scarf and gloves in a bag too - just need to pop some hiking socks in there. Mobile on charge...DD told to put hers on charge (been uncharged for over a week)and I will tell DS to make sure his is fully charged too. I was cross with him last night because I got a 'will you pick me up' text. I replied as I didn't know if he meant immediately and from where and got nothing...so I phoned and got the message service...so I phoned GFs and he WAS there...I have told him repeatedly that 'urgent' things like this should not be by text - he needs to phone then we all know 'what's what'. It is stupid to assume that a text will be received and read immediately.
