I forgot to say before - eBay problem is sorted out - that listing has disappeared and email "apologising" of sorts from ebay ;):D

Flying is not happening ATM except for the clearing up of tea dishes and the decluttering of TV programmes I've got on my freeview box :p I'm busy sorting a budget (even if it means some of the categories will only be virtual until my overdraft is paid off) and this time I'm sticking to it! I'm wondering if I can actually budget for Xmas and stuff without going into debt this year, plus I'm hoping to put a little aside so I can pay for a housemove & some new furniture when I do move. ;)

Right, onwards and paper-wards, for now.

Good luck Soappie... I love tiling, I did all the bathroom walls in our old house (wall tiles much easier to cut than floor tiles... ) - bath to ceiling around the bath and floor to about half way up around the rest of the room... Great fun, very messy but very rewarding... :T
Can I book you to come down here and do my bathroom? ;) I want to completely redo it sometime this year :D
Greenbee- hope you are able to get to sleep tonight - at least you can have a bit of a lie in tomorrow... take care x - oh, and thanks again for the laptop battery info - battery is wrapped and in the freezer from this morning (am working on mains) so I will get it out tomorrow morning - by the way, does it have to defrost or do I just plug in and go straight from freezer (bet Jamie Olivers never cooked a battery!!! :rotfl: )

I'm trying to work out how to use the sleep CD that I've been lent when I don't have a CD player in the bedroom... as for the battery, there are no guarantees that it will work, but its worth a try. I've never really thought about the defrosting thing... but as I've usually taken them to work afterwards, they probably have been defrosted...

To bore you even more - the latest state of the kitchen. It is not a pretty sight! DS actually helped with the lifting of the vinyl - he was really pleased to find a use for his very, very, very sharp ornamental sword!

Got a very odd phone call today from flat rental company asking if we still live here. I said yeeesss, and she said that the landlord has received a council tax bill for the flat. I sent the form to the council when we moved in with proof that we are both students, so this shouldn't have happened! Need to ring the council on Monday to sort it out I think. Grrrrrr.
    Hope everyone is well

Have put most of the kitchen to rights. But, I fear AnW'sMum has inspired me. I keep looking at the kitchen floor and thinking 'that needs a wash'. Then I start thinking about how she managed to tile her kitchen floor so there's no reason why I can't do mine!

I feel a measuring session coming on....

Wooohoooo well given your track record I am sure it will have been tiled by the time I get to the end of my skim reading :p:rotfl: If not then certainly by the end of the w/e!

If you do go for it and want a few tips then let me know ;) (won't be able to reply before Sunday night though )
