number 2, please can you come here and be proactive in helping me to finish decorating the hall, the landing, the dining room, take the woodchip off the walls, finish the laminate flooring, sort out the fireplace which had been lanquishing in 2 seperate rooms for a year and a half, sort the missing floorboards out on our landing, carpet the stairs, replace the avacado green bathroom suite, plaster the walls, build and extention and board out the loft. I'll have you back home by 6pm Sunday.....at the rate you work!!:DDFW Nerd 267. DEBT FREE 11.06.08

MOF77 how horrible of the school, go get 'emWell Superwoman Soappie has done it again. I've been shopping -but not for food. I have grout, glue, spacers, a diamond tile cutter and 14 sq m (told you it was big!) of tiles for the kitchen floor.
And it's all AnW'sMum's fault!
:eek::eek::eek: OMG she's gone and got the tiles already! Knew she would, loving the pics, keep them coming.

I think I'd like to join you all *waves*
I am pretty obsessive about cleaning and tidying but with one (very) FT job plus a latenight PT job it is hard to get anything done as I usually work six and sometimes seven days a week
I usually end up blitzing the whole house on Sat and Sun leaving me with no time to do anything else.
But this week I have followed the thread and I've only got minimal dusting and floor sweeping in the bedroom to do tomm so I can take my OH's niece shopping as promised since Xmas, and go for a run with my friend who's training for the Great North. Whoo!
Oh, and we are renovating our house on a budget of about £5.50, so I have one gorgeous bedroom and a bomb-site front room/hall which can't be helped but is very frustrating to a compulsive cleaner/tidier.DEBT FREE! Sep '08/£9,800 in Oct '06 :beer:0 -
Morning everyone,
Can't sleep.
May I ask a huge favour? At some point today would you light a candle for Tristan and burn it for 20 mins maybe with a small prayer? It was suggested to me by a lovely lady called Carol - a kind of gathering of energies all in one day. If they do decide they have to operate then I know it can only help. Thank you to any of you who feel they can do this, it means more than you know, and I hope no-one is offended by my asking.
hugs to all those who need one today

Can I book you to come down here and do my bathroom?
I want to completely redo it sometime this year
Let's just say if I were you, I would get a professional...Not that it looked bad, it was quite good even if I do say so myself, but...
I'm trying to work out how to use the sleep CD that I've been lent when I don't have a CD player in the bedroom... as for the battery, there are no guarantees that it will work, but its worth a try. I've never really thought about the defrosting thing... but as I've usually taken them to work afterwards, they probably have been defrosted...
What about your laptop? I know not ideal in the bedroom, but you could also set it up to switch itself off into sleep mode after so long...LBM April 2013 - £29,000.00Vanquis CC's PAID - Debenhams SC PAID - A+L OD PAID - Asda CC £783.75Barclaycard CC £1400.78 - BoS CC PAID - Freemans Cat PAIDF/D Loan & CC £1458.96 - Santander Loan PAID - Mum Loan PAIDRBS OD PAID - F/D OD £1026.52Weekly Grocery Challenge - £95.00 budget / spend £-0 -

De-web and de-fluff the room
Extras
List 5 things on eBay!
Wipe all the paintwork
Thursday - general flingishness

S&S kitchen
Vacuum a messy floor!
Level Two
Wash any neglected grubby windows...
Polish the porch!
Level Three
Clean out any pets
Wash any neglected bedding...
Extras
Write down 5 things YOU are good at!! (A little self appreciation goes a long way!)
1. Figures – I like to play with figures and accounts and set up spreadsheets and stuff (although I don’t like doing 6 months in one go like at the moment… too much, I like to play
2. Decorating – Not only am I good at it, I absolutely LOVE it! How sad is that…
3. Cooking when I get to it – I love making puddings and cakes
4. Being a mum – took me some time and we have our moments, but I know they know I am there for them
5. Being a wife – again, moments is an understatement, but we are good together and we work it out…
Ohhh, that was hard – I’m a bit ‘jack of all trades’ me, quite good at a few things but not great at any one thing IYKWIM so really had to think of something that I am GOOD at – Oh, another one that I am BRILLIANT at… Procrastinating… :rotfl:
Friday - Flyday - DS is to do a lot of this as it is getting messy again...
Level One
Clear and vacuum floors in children’s and spare rooms
HH-do something for YOU!!!!!!! – once DS has gone out today, I am going to turn the heating up so the bathroom is nice and warm and then go have a nice, hot bath with all the trimmings and my book… ahhhhhh,
Level Two
drag the junk from under the bed and deal with it as necessary!
Level Three
find 10 things that are outgrown to give away/sell
Extras
Wash any sticky marks from the room
My M.A.C.A.W challenge this week is..............to keep on top of my washing/ironing..... Keeping the same all this month to make sure it becomes a habit…
My Extras
1. Write a letter to insurance company to explain details fully
2. Take all Virgin Vie stuff out of study cupboard and put on EBay
3. Take all DVD’s/Videos out of study cupboard and put with others once sorted
4. Enter at least 5 DVD’s/videos a day onto eBay ready for cheap listing day (whenever that is…)
Business/Club Stuff
[STRIKE]1. Enter last of invoices from January onto new QB system [/STRIKE]
2. Enter all invoices from previous months for SH onto new QB system
3. Update Developer list and highlight those we already work with
4. Go into office to find out about fuel usage to apply for loan from Carbon Trust as we can get one for the two knackered boilers in the club.
Plus I have to...- S&S Kitchen & lounge (not too bad in either, so not much)
- Go shopping
- Do my meal plan for week
- URGENT - Get Car Tax for BOTH cars...
(why can't we pay for our tax in the cost of fuel - easier to budget for and those that use the roads more would pay more and the little old lady who only goes to bingo wouldn't... much fairer, everyone would pay - including foreign visitors like we do in their country - and no-one to chase AND I wouldn't have to find over £200 today then would I...???)
- Do Roast Pork dinner for today as hubby working and not home tomorrow
- PUT PRESCRIPTION INTO DOC'S - PLEASE KICK ME (Virtually or otherwise) IF I HAVE NOT DONE THIS TODAY...:o
- Make a list of everything that we want/need/desire for the near future and aim for one of them - I think we have fallen into a bit of a hole lately of just being skint and budgetting so need a light at the end of the tunnel to get us through... think it has to be something shiny too for the first one, rather than something we need...;) :rotfl:

Diva - hugs - I'll light a candle as sunset this evening for TristanSoappie, just a little ask or two
,
number 1, please can you make sure your dog isn't in any more photos else I'll be forced to find out where you live and kidnap him/her because him/her is GORGEOUS
You're right, she IS gorgeous. I love her to bits. But, she loves the camera and will do her best to be in the picture. And if she ever goes missing I'll know where to go to get her backnumber 2, please can you come here and be proactive in helping me to finish .... I'll have you back home by 6pm Sunday.....at the rate you work!!:D
For a very large fee I may consider it. You realise that the tiling is extreme paper clip polishing? I had set myself the task of clearing out the unit in the hallway this weekend.....I really don't want to do that!
I'm up and on my second cup of tea. Bedding is in the washing machine and will go on the line as soon as it's finished. When this cup of tea is finished, I shall get dressed and start on the floor!I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Diva - I will certainly light a candle and I'll put a prayer card in the box at the Abbey - they have a prayer circle there that meets and prays(obviously?) for about half hour each day for those that have put requests in as well as the 'usual'. best wishes to you both.
have a good morning everyone
