Opera is another good browser to try.
Lighter and faster than Firefox. It's also more secure, or at least has fewer and less critical security issues open.
It was the first browser to introduce true tabbed browsing, and has everything you should need out of the box. My favourite is the trash can, where if you accidentally close a page, you can recover it rather than having to browse there again."Boonowa tweepi, ha, ha."0 -
I don't much like Firefox. <snip stuff that reads like trolling> But everyone else seems to like it. I'll give it another go ... one day.

I tried to install "Customise Google" by clicking "install now" on link supplied by sra but no joy.
Also search in "get more extensions" only produced "Customise Yahoo".0 -

I found a new trick recently for installing extensions.
Go to the page above. don't double-click the 'install now' link. Instead just drag the link to the url bar
This bypasses the security system where you have to white-list sites to allow them to install extensions0 -
Thanks sra for that excellent tip - job done.0

I love firefox! ive been using it for at least a couple of years now, and i find it so much easier to use than IE, i especially like the tabbing, rather than having numerous windows flooding the taskbar as with IE. Thanks for the configure google extension, looks great!!0
