    There seems to be a shortage of the pesky things! Wonder why?

    Latest version on a theme - I rinsed out a Pringles type tube and cut out a 'posting' slot in the side, so now it looks like a very tall post box.

    Suggestions please on how to decorate the outside? How would you decorate yours??!?

    MBNA = £4,000 / Next = £925 (approx. tbc on 19/8)
    Tesco = £2,910.11 / Smile overdraft = £500
    Bank of Scotland = £2,782.83
  • I have had to cheat as i usually buy everything on my card. I swapped two £1 coins for 1 £2 coin with my mum. She had 3!!!

    She was writing me a cheque for some money she owed me, and i was trying to persuade her to give me the other 2 and knock the value of the cheque down, but she wouldn't. Grrrrrrr.

    Total now = 2x2 = £4 - this is a slow process, but i suppose even if i only got 1 per week, this would still be over £100.

    Note to self - try to spend some cash instead of on the card.

    Please can I join the £2 Savers Club?

    Put my first £2 coin in a Cadbury's money box.

    Hoping to put money in here instead of buying chocolate to help with weight loss too!!

    i proposed to my girlfriend yesterday too!! so yay to us!

    anyway we won't be getting married til after uni (bout 3 years ish), so we have plenty of time.

    back to the topic, at the mo, i save 1p's, 2p's and 5p's at the mo, and i'm gonna give this whole £2 thing a go, seeing as i have 3 in my wallet!

    good luck everyone
