Hello everyone,
This is so exciting - I nearly peed myself in the post office when I got 2 in my change today! My workmate thought I was mad!
Yeah - up to £20! She owes me £3 too, so is going to try and give me 1 x £2 coin in that change.
scottishspendaholic xMBNA = £4,000 / Next = £925 (approx. tbc on 19/8)
Tesco = £2,910.11 / Smile overdraft = £500
Bank of Scotland = £2,782.830 -
I think this is a fab idea. I've got a few to put aside. I've promised my family I'm going to be home to New Zealand for Christmas... but I'm in the expensive process of moving (flats not houses... that's soooooo far off I can't even think about it!) and I have an LPG car which needs fixing. I'm hoping this will be a good way to save for the airfare!0

Up until this thread started, I always had £2 coins in my bag. Once I decided to join (and didn't want to join on a zero balance) it has taken two whole weeks before the first one showed up! Go figure... :rolleyes: Am off to Tesco's tonight to find one of those 'Paint Your Own' Piggy banks :T
Every time I reach £100, I will invest in a Premium Bond:
a) to stop me nibbling
b) to put the coins back in circulation so I can get MORE
c) you never know, I might win something :rotfl:
I never thought one little coin could put a smile on my face...£2 Club total = £40
