If you keep saving the coins,no wonder there is a shortage! Why not do what one poster has done and pay them into a bank when you reach a target - £50 or £100?:j Every day in every way, learning to money save:j0

there's defo a shortage, but i've manged to get 2 more overnight!!! we need to call the royal mint in an attempt to get more coins into circulation, whilst we are still saving!!!!

Just to let you all know i had £76 in my tin when i opened it not bad in a few months and can't say i missed the £2 coins when i put them in ,resisted the urge to open it before hols though! Need to sart again now ,Happy Saving.
