I know! Rubbish! I'm the same - as I said, I think there's a £2 coin drought at the moment.
Ended up HAVING to spend a £2 coin the other day - had to put in 2 £1 coins instead as I felt sooo guilty by spending! Guilt is good...

Havent had many recently, but on Sun and BH Mon, I volunteered to run a stall for a local charity at a show and the little gold babies kept rolling in, needless to say swapped my own money for them, but I now have a great total in my tin of £330. Cool!
I only know how much is in there because we keep a tally chart on the outside of the tin, If I could get the money out it would have been spent already!
I feel very disciplined putting money in the jar (we put £5. in at a time - always 2 x £2 coins and 1x £1 coin) and I never, ever spend the £2. coins, they always get saved for the next £5 to go in the tin.
Looking forward to a wonderful debt free christmas. Happy saving!:TIf you don't have something nice to say don't bother saying anything at all.0 -
3 more for me todayThere is a forgotten, nay almost forbidden word which means more to me than any other. That word is England.

My £2 coin savings maybe going quite slow, but I've never been this excited about saving - I'm like a little kid again (especially when I get a £2 in my change - my joy is off the richter scale :rotfl: )
Happy saving everyone :T0 -
I banked my last lot a few months back and then had a break from saving these little lovelys but earlier this week i looked back at how much I had managed to save and wished I had kept going, so I have sealed the tin up again and I will keep it sealed till just after christmas and hopefully it should be a nice surprise again in the new year."That's a big 10 - 4 Good Buddy"£2 Coin Savers Club

Anyway I have decided that when I get to £100 I am going to buy a premium bond...Saving for an early retirement!0
