Up to £212 now! I seem to go a few weeks without seeing any and then all at once I get quite a few. It's hard to put them in the jar when I buy something small with a tenner and get all £2 coins in change, so I have slipped a few times. But I'm enjoying the discipline of it. They are MY coins - not to be given away to shops etc.
Thank you to the people who run this thread - I never realised I could be so organised... And I'm enjoying having an ISA.£2 coin club - £282! (since 9 Feb 06)0 -

I added the £2 coin saves club to my sig a wee while ago but don't think I ever managed to post! I take it no-one has any probs with even more people joining the club!!!
To save my coins I rinsed out a 2 litre coca-cola bottle, tightened the lid on it and cut a slot in the neck. It's great really as I can't get to any of the money until it's full!!! Every coin going in there at the mo so don't know how many £2 coins - at least 5 tho! Trying to persuade OH to contribute but so far his contributions have been when I raid his pockets for all the 'shrapnel'!!!!"Life may not always be the party you wish for, but whilst here you may aswell dance"!!!

I've just joined the site today. I sold my flat and moved in with my Mum to get debt free, I really want to stay that way. :www:
I'm moving to Yorkshire once I find a new job and will need to start saving for a house deposit too. I need all the help I can get. There's just me and the cat.
I have no savings as just broke even with the flat sale, so I'm going to begin with the £2 savers club, it's an excellent idea. I have a two litre water bottle on my desk, I was trying to drink 2 litres a day, because apparently that's good for you, but I've failed on that one so I'm going to use arnie&caseysma!'s Coke Bottle tip :T and use the bottle for something useful instead."Tomorrow is always fresh, with no mistakes in it."
