Hubby saved me one today - awwww bless!

Know I should probably put it in savings but it's so much more exciting in a jar!

I had a £2 coin sitting miserably in front of me for a few days so I did something naughty in work.

When anyone gave me a £2 coin, I put it under the £20 notes, then at the end of the day I asked my boss to put them in my wages (I'm paid in cash), so on Friday evening, I had another £12 worth!

Think I'll do this every week now and aim for £10 worth of them :)

  • I got £50 cashback with my groceries in Sainsburys today and the girl said that she only had 4 £10 so would I mind 5 £2 coins - would I mind?? I was delighted and couldn't wait to get them home to add to my collection!! Before I joined this club I used to get irritated when anyone gave me a £2 in change because they are never accepted in parking meters and suchlike and I always seemed to only have a £2 when I needed a £1 but now I am looking for them I hardly ever get them (except today of course!!)
