A good night out at the dogs, with lots of £2.00 coins in change/winnings resulted in another £24 in £2 coins :)

  • I've saved these lovely coins in a section of 32mm plastic plumbing pipe. They fit very snugly and you can fit about £250 worth in a piece about 14" long.

My friend gave me one as a contibution to petrol - I give her lots of lifts - she didn't know I was collecting them - now she is hunting as well, so hopefully my collection will grow a bit more rapidly. Some of you have loads!!I'm jealous.

I bought one from DD today, and I must have added two and forgotten during the week, so I have now updated my signature correctly. Very nearly £30. Wow! I still don't know what I am saving them for, but am thinking about a camera.

Had to use another two today, to buy some bread and milk ahead of receiving our next batch of money tomorrow. :(

Things are just too tight to be able to set the £2's aside, at the moment. Hopefully that will improve as we go along. I'm ever hopeful.
:hello: I'm very well, considering the state I'm in. :hello:
