I think they would still have to follow proper procedures.... because of the fact you are off sick, you could have a potential unfair dismissal claim if they do just sack you, because for all you know, they could well be using this as an excuse for dismissal because you are off ill, this is no fault of your own btw.BSC #215/No.1 Jan 09 Club0

thanks don. i think i will always blame myself for this mess. the forms from the court should b here this wk, shall i fill them in an make an appointment? will they then make me br on that day? im so worried that for some reason they ll say i cant go br. just me panicking i think. worried theyll judge me and just think im a stupid girl for getting to this state. does it matter that i only took out the loan about 12 months ago?0

there is nothing stopping you making a start to filling the forms in, it may take a while, there are lots of pages. you can make an appointment with the court for a day to go BR, they will only refuse BR on two grounds - A) that you have not sought professional advice from one of the debt charities before going BR and do not understand the implications of BR and
that you are not insolvent.
The court and judge will not condemn you, generally they are very nice and helpful.
Re the loan 12 months ago, lots of people have been in that situation, trying to keep everything going by consolidating I imagine, I have been there and done that too.BSC #215/No.1 Jan 09 Club0 -
yeah stupidly i tried to consolidate but then had to rely on c/cards to survive. im dreading the forms, they sound like hard work. do i have to say why i want to go br? what should i say?0

you do need to prepare a cause of BR statement, it just needs to tell the story of how you have gotten to this stage and what has caused it really. you can do the forms online at the insolvency service website and save them bit by bit as you go if that would be easier.BSC #215/No.1 Jan 09 Club0

who is really worth any money these days? certainly not the banks! and i am 30 with £43k! ok it is normal to be ashamed but if there is truly no other option for you, then you are doing the right thing! you are not worthless and do not let anyone tell you this or put you down!BSC #215/No.1 Jan 09 Club0

i shouldnt let him get to me i know but he does, hes such a bully. he told me im abusing the system by going br and that i should behave more responsibly. this coming from a guy that used to hit me! just having a bad day, stressing and wanting it to all be over with. not that easy i know.0
-
he sounds like a worthless piece of carp to me! sorry if that is a bit blunt!

Just forget about today, it is only one day and tomorrow is always a fresh new day with no mistakes in it.
you are not abusing the system, it was a system put in place to help people out of unavoidable situations, you are using the system for the purpose that it was put in place.BSC #215/No.1 Jan 09 Club0 -
