If this dishwasher is not coming and they have the monies for 1500[figure mentioned somewhere] dishwashers thats a fair bit of money to hold and accrue interest on.Be ALERT - The world needs more LERTS0

Not really because their transaction processing charges and time/effort of staff logistically probably outweight any interest they could make in 10 days on that sum.
They obviously had a certain small number of discontinued lines that they wanted to clear, so they reduced the price down in order to do this right away, not expecting thousands of orders from acrosss the bargain sites on the internet.
I have no doubt *some* people will get the dishwasher, but only if they are local to somewhere that had one of the discontinued models knocking about in the warehouse to shift.... they certainly wont have 1000's of clearance models ready, so if you did go for this bargain you really dont stand a chance, and should get your refund arranged. The Head Honcho (does very little work)0 -

Once the money has been taken from an account it forms a legally-binding contract for B&Q to provide the goods.
B&Q must honour that contract even if it is to provide a similar item for the same price0 -

I really can't see moneyclaim will do anything other than get you a refund, which you would get anyway without the hassle.
I have had many times before when companies haven't been able to supply goods for whatever reason and they've just given me my money back, which is fair enough, there is no actual loss here other than a penny or two interest.
Sometimes I've decided after paying that I simply don't want the item any more and have been given a full refund, it works both ways.:A
