    Okay, I'm officially addicted.

I was wandering around my 3rd or 4th Boots store today, checking out the clearance/No7/HE etc stands, and thinking to myself "I wonder what will be on 100 points per item on Wednesday?".

I have enough HE to stock a hair salon, enough shaving gel to do OH til Christmas, and enough No7 skincare/haircare to last me til next year at this time. And yet I'm still desperate to spend my blinkies on more No7 - but I want reduced and 342 as well :rotfl: !

Have I completely lost the plot? Or am I just a Bootser :T !
  • Westwood Cross had reduced No7 yesterday: sun stuff and body polish.

Ashford Boots on retail park had same sort of stuff last weekend BUT they had run out of blinkies.

Ashford town centre last weekend also had reduced No7: various sun stuff and some cosmetics.

Waves to Sandra Scarlett - love your posts. I did see you asked about SS tills at Bluewater in Kent - yes they do have SS tills there on bottom floor. The Boots there is on 2 floors. Cosmetics are on top floor but I had no problem when I last went in December, taking stuff downstairs to SS tills.

I did ask earlier but I think it got lost in the thread...can I use a Mens 250 point coupon with an ordinary 250 point voucher in the same transaction please?

On my travels today, I was speaking to a lovely SA who was telling me (as I was buying the last 3 greasy roots/dry ends HE conditioner in the shop ;) ) that they were moving all their new HE onto the hair aisle tomorrow, and so all the old packaging bottles would be reduced to clear then. Bums I thought, I can't get here tomorrow. Might be worth looking out for though?

I did manage to spend one of my blinkies on reduced No7 on 342 - the cooling facial aftersun at £3.93 (the new packaged one is £7.93).
Made up my spend to £10 with a pantene mini, and a mega-reduced T&G Model me shampoo (£1.22 down from £7ish). Used 150 points voucher from the ACM for T&G, had to manually added, but SA had no problem doing this. Gained 250 bonus points on a £5.34 spend, and another blinkie.

Thanks to a lovely Bootser here, I've got No7 for men 250 points vouchers, so I'm using those and blinkies to basically get paid to take No7 for men shaving gel home :T .

Ilkeston - still a few bottles of HE shampoo/conditioner = large bottles for 73p, coloured and highlighted hair variety. Reduced Gillette shave gels. A few bits of No7 on clearance, but no skincare.

Nottingham Riverside - all the clearance No7 is suncare, didn't see any reduced Gillette, some SELs had clearance HE, but no actual bottles to be had. Loads of mega reduced T&G Model me range.

Nottingham Listergate - nothing at all reduced No7, or anything else I could see. Complete waste of time.

Bulwell - reduced HE (2in1 and greasy roots conditioner only at the clearance prices 44p and 73p), reduced Gillette shave gels. According to SA, they are reducing to clear all their old packaging HE tomorrow.
  • When did everyone receive their 200 points mailing vouchers? I've not had anything through the post. I'm quite new to Boots, got my card in November and no correspondence since.

And this really is my last rambling for the evening. After someone mentioning on here about wanting the Jelly Belly Bean dispenser and being given a link to the site that sells them if they couldn't get one in the sale, I also visited the site. How excited was I to see a "Samples" button!!! Turns out they give out 100 samples a day but that this starts at a random time every day and closes again for the day once the 100 mark has been reached. Well, I've got the link saved in my favourites and have been trying it every time I've been on the laptop...which is a lot as I tend to surf a lot when I'm breastfeeding during the night (and then get in trouble by buying far too much mail order stuff in my half-asleep state!) and guess what...today I won. Here's the link if anyone else wants to try

    http://www.jellybelly-uk.com/cgi-bin/jb/products.pl?category=2

Just click on the samples button at the top and Good Luck :j

P.S: If you do get lucky you are not allowed to win again for 3 months.

P.P.S: I'll let you all know whether it was worth it when my solitary free jelly bean pops through the post haha!

Well done you! Hope it is more than one jelly bean though!!

I often (as I'm heading into Boots, card in hand ready for the ACM, basket in other hand) think I must be so recognisable!! Just when they re-arrange the shop so you can't sweep the "known" areas for discounts easily :o

Oh to have more than 30 mins lunchbreak:rolleyes:

(says she with enough shampoo to last near enough 'forever' to quote my DD who can easily use a bottle in a day  so I ration her S&G usage!!! and a Boots "present stash" (yeah RIGHT) in back bedroom, DD's room and the main bedroom..... it's MINE:p sod the presents :D )
  • You just reminded me I spotted these too for £8.75 on Sunday...didn't realise they were originally £34.25 otherwise I may have paid more attention x

 Last time I was in Chester they had these on clearance (think someone needs to explain what that word actually means to their staff  ) for £25.00!!! Now that's one hell of a difference. :rotfl:

I don't want one. I'm just complaining for the sake of it. :D
