Unfortunately I was not able to use the points blinkies as none of the SA's were willing (i went to 3 different ones) and they said it cannot be used on clearance items!!!
So in total I paid £7.37 for goods worth £37.15 (even bigger savings when considering I paid clearance prices!!!). I am quite new to the boots thread so I think I have done really well today!!! :j
THANK YOU EVERYBODY!0 -

Did Nuninge or the other lady, or anyone else use the above voucher today? If so, did it go through as an Incentive Bond? I don't know whether to try my luck with mine or just bin them. Eeeek!
I went shopping today and found reduced sleeping bag, baby hooded bath towel and coverlet all in the same range that ds already has. The bedding bits alone came to over 20 pounds so I tried to use the Baby and You magazine voucher for 500 points when spending 20 pounds on baby bedding but it beeped. Turns out that although the new mag is out, this voucher doesn't start till Feb first so I paid for it all in points. I'm waffling! Basically I didn't get to try the voucher on the ss tills as the products that I was buying were clearance and need to be keyed in by an sa. I might try another day and will let you know. xMake £2012 in 2012 member #88

I've noticed this in a couple of stores now but I think it is only the 3 or 4 items actually on the stand. Not sure what they all were, but one was lipstick. Not sure it's cheaper than spending blinkie though.0 -
Hi everyone, my first post on here so please shout if i get this wrong:o
I tried using the vouchers which were given on another at the top of the page on Boots.com but it kept saying invalid codeany ideas?
Anywho another quick question i'm planning on going to boots on Wednesday for the gift bag and i was wondering how i could / maybe get the free stuff that comes with the blinkie (think thats what its called).
The voucher i have is the £5 off No7 Ruby Millie combined with £20 boots voucher.
Do i just take the free stuff to the till with me? What happens if it shows up full price, do i argue the toss or leave it?
As you can tell i have no idea or tried to do this before.
Any help would be amazing,
Thanks x
Hi,
The free stuff with a blinkie is basically anything No7 which is £5 or less, or Ruby & Millie £5 or less. Now, if you want the new no7 GWP, you need to spend £18 on No7. So, you could pick No7 items which total £25 (if you want to use up your £20 boots voucher), get the GWP, and pay with your Boots vouchers and a blinkie.
I'm not sure if thats what you mean, as I'm a bit confused by your term "free stuff". Do you mean the GWP? Or do you mean something else?0 -
None in the Ipswich main branch but still had one mini bottle that had offer of free haircut on it and big bottles that also had free 200ml versions of the new shampoos / conditioners stuck on there so look out for these as they'll be a mega bargain if they;re reduced. Little boots had lots of sels for reduced stuff but just empty shelves. Got a couple of 2 in 1s for 1.14 so 14 p in 'boots logic. Not bad.Make £2012 in 2012 member #88

The spend amount to get the new No 7 GWP is £20.00.
The 3 for 2 on No 7 finishes tomorrow.
Sorry to bring you this bad news, but it is better to know this before you make your plans.
Edit. Sorry everyone. I obviously got this wrong. I was told that it would be £20 by the No 7 lady but it may have been one of Boots last minute changes. I did tell you this in good faith.0 -
reading an advert in a 'sad mag' today and it states that blinkies will be given out til the 27 jan (tomorrow!) which you can spend til the 1st feb..
so if thats right tomorrow is the last day to earn blinkies...!!!!!
go get um!0 -
Oh right, thought it was something to buy seperate. If it was only a couple of quid then I was going to use my last blinkie on it, as thought it looked ideal for cleaning my keyboard with.
OT, sorry -- put hoover on gentlest suction and use it to clean keyboard, otherwise you are just redistributing dust!0 -
Are they still giving out blinkies tomorrow?
OOPS, answer posted by posteipaula while I was typing!0
