My order just arrived, every item is damaged
Granted its just the packaging thats damaged on most of it, but i got toys and there supposed to be presents and damaged packaging doesnt look good. I got some mens TS sets and all the bottoms of the boxes are ripped and the contents are all over the bottom of the HUGE oversized box. The HUGE oversized box was open they only put a small bit of cellotape on it and by the time the nice parceline guy got it to my door it was almost all over the floor.
I have also been charged for the next day delivery  , which i was told i wouldnt be charged as they obviously didnt deliver it next day.
I didnt get any free samples either. But thats not my main concern.
Well thats it NO MORE .com for me. To many damaged, late items.
Im going to ring them in a minute to moan, not that it will get me anywhere, cos boots dont care.
Im so mad, i really am. I want to fire off a barrage of swear words but thats not gonna fix my damaged items is it?
CS have refunded my £5.38 delivery charge to my card saying they are only refunding the delivery charge once deliveries have been recieved by the customer.
RE damaged items: NO EXCHANGES ARE BEING OFFERED ON SALE ITEMS AS THEY HAVE ZERO SALE STOCK LEFT IN THE WAREHOUSE, so i either have to keep them damaged, or return them for a refund. The lady said that the sale got taken off .com because they ran out of stock but the sytem wasnt updating the stock levels properly as a lot of people were checking out large quantities at a time, so it seems some people will not be getting some items they have ordered.
But thinking about it, all the items that are damaged are showing as being in stock on .com but at full price????? Are they just spinning me a line? Think i better speak to someone else about this.
Sorry if someone's already suggested this as i am only catching up now for the day but if you could afford to couldn't you order the whole lot again at full price and when it turns up in hopefully very nice condition, then return all the damaged items from the 75% off sale as though they were the ones that you bought at full price? Obviously there would be a large initial cost outlay and there is the faff of having to return all the stuff to the store but hopefully you would then have all the nice stuff at 75% off rather than the rubbish stuff. Hope that makes sense...it's been a long day.

Have to say Bootsing is QUITE addictive, lol!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:0 -
Oh right, thought it was something to buy seperate. If it was only a couple of quid then I was going to use my last blinkie on it, as thought it looked ideal for cleaning my keyboard with.
Might still be worth it to get the blusher & GWP then, as I'm sure one of the girls at work will find them a good home.
I am sure I only paid £3 for the blusher with my blinkie and got the free gwp really good value:rotfl:0 -
There's a good deal at the moment on Toni&Guy products, 2 for £7 and ACM voucher for 150 points. Some of their styling products (included in the offer) are nearly £7 each so it's a good time to stock up. Got 4 things on behalf of DS who is doing a hair hamper for his GF Valentine's pressie (I think I'll be getting talked into making up the hamper but he's paying)
Up to £2 off selected Maybelline, I got 2 Dream Mousse concealers, no SEL advertising a discount on them only on the foundations, but £1 each deducted at the till.
Couldn't find any reduced HE today but saw plenty of it reduced to £1 in Superdrug and Poundland for anyone looking for more variety but no points.
Spotted a few men's Ted Baker and FCUK reduced SEL's but all sold out of products, worth looking out for though.
Reduced No7 a bit thin on the ground in Durham Marketplace but got a Pore Refining serum for a blinkie and 65p.
Two more suggestions for future vouchers:
Smilie - photographic voucher
Blokie - Men's skincare
Off-topic - Very tempted to bus it to the Metrocentre in search of Lush bags but too cold and lazy so might go first thing tomorrow. Anyone any idea if there will be any left?

I was at the Metro at about 11:30, no £15 bags just £10 and £5 left. I was the only customer in the store and the assistant was using the time to tidy the window display! I got a couple of bag and quite happy with the contents, they did seem to have a few left but don't know how many as they were behind the counter out of sight.
Didn't get into boots so don't know if they had anything of interest. HTH0 -

Thanks minimoneyme I really appreciate you answering my silly questions.:o
Will definitely attempt to get the gift on wednesday with the voucher, hopefully the 342 will be on so that would be quite good and an added bonus.
If the code doesn't go through tonight i'll ring CS up tomorrow and see if they will just let me use the code over the phone.
Can't believe all the deals you and everyone on here gets, i normally just spend whatever the voucher is worth and leave it.
Thanks again i owe you one! :beer:0 -

Visited my local Boots in Sutton earlier today. Citrus Lift Herbal Essences was the only one in the whole range that was reduced but there was none left.
I used my last blinkie on a No 7 nail polish. However, after I paid I realised that although the shelf edge label says the polish is £6.10, it actually goes through the till at £6.12.Time may be a great healer, but it's a lousy beautician....0
