Oh and a rather cheeky moment on the no 7 counter today. The only reduced no 7 stuff they have is the Lisa ELdridge make up palette...the one that I bought when the clearance first started for £2.50 each...so I was g etting 2 free with a Blinkie. Well, they have a Clearance label of £9.30 now! I mentioned to the SA that I had gotten some at £2.50 and she said that they had had to up the price becasue people were getting them free with their Blinkies....well der! Anyway so I asked what they had originally cost....she said she thought that was the original price. So I said it's a bit misleading therefore to have aclearance sticker on them if they're not actually at a clearance price and she said they had to because the till wouldn't recognise the barcode anymore. What a load of rubbish and what a massive con. She did try to tell me that I could use my Blinkie on it to get it for £4.30! Er, don't think so lovey!!! Not when I had them at £2.50 before.

The spend amount to get the new No 7 GWP is £20.00.

The 3 for 2 on No 7 finishes tomorrow.

Sorry to bring you this bad news, but it is better to know this before you make your plans.

Oh pants! (am I allowed to write that?) I will rethink purchases. Still £20 not too bad if using Blinkie (£15) Thank you JeanIII.

    I was a bit naughty today :o

I bought 3 x Clearance No 7 Glossy Locks, on 3 for 2, paid at a self-service till ....with a free Olay gift in my basket as well.....used a blinkie paid 60p ...then asked the SA hovering by the self-service tills for another blinkie - which he gave me!!!!

So then I went a got another 3 Glossy locks

Thats the way to do it - nowt to feel guilty about :D
  • Just popped in to say that:

Old Broad Street Boots had some Herbal Essences on clearance shelf today at 73p each. Greasy roots ones. Clearance shelf is next to photo machine at back of shop. Other stuff there: Soltan sun stuff, some toothbrush heads and memory cards. They had a stack of Baby mags in store too.

Liverpool Street Station Boots has a stack of old GWPs. You can choose one when you buy any 3 self serve cosmetics eg 17, Nat Coll, Rimmel, Bourjois, L'Oreal etc. Today they had on offer Rimmel palettes, 17 silver bags, some 17 limited edition eye palettes, 17 bronzer sets, and Bourjois glitter balls - or whatever last Bourjois GWP was!

I am not up to date on thread so just ignore me if this has already been posted.

Boots have cancelled part of my sale order due to lack of stock. Yet the item is in stock at full price on dot com. Thats a bit naughty.

Anyway, i thought the blinki and the 250 points on NO7 did not work together. Am i wrong?

Also, when are the instore offers due to switch over again. Is it Wednesday? I didn't manage to get down today to check the herbal essences pantene offer.

The blinkie and 250 points on No7 definitely do work - I've used 2 normal 250 points, and 3 No7 for men 250 points, combined with blinkies. The only time the points had to manually added was when I was buying 342 reduced No7, but the SA carefully looked at my 250 points voucher, then manually added the points no problem.
The trick is to hand over the 250 points voucher with your items, and only after the SA has scanned that in, hand over your blinkie.

HE offers end tomorrow (ie tomorrow is the last day you can get 100 points per item on HE and Pantene)

I wish either of my local branches had all those old GWPs - as it is, they have none of them
