  • Hi everyone
Hope you are all having a great bootsing day

Just want to say ( again ) what a fantastic friendly thread this is.Its great that peeps are all thrilled when someone gets a bargin and inspired to go again and try themselves. Also if someone has had a rough time or been unlucky - there is always a cheery word.......Thanks bootsters all.

PS Sorry if it sounds cheesy but it is genuinely meant !
  • I'm sitting on the S&G fence (or am I on the "S&G-gate" ?), but I must admit I hate it when people are unnecessarily personal on here. I lose all respect for someone's argument when they are nasty about someone. VS's argument was valid until it turned personal.

i thought SS was mentioned because VS was responding to something she said, if VS didnt name her it would have looked like she was making a snidy dig  which has been previously mentioned on this thread as also unacceptable

this site is like a mine field and some days you just cant win whatever you do. :rotfl:

One thought on the SA's being aggressive in their approach to vouchers, perhaps its because of the increase in vouchers being used incorrectly. Each sale is put through on their own number so it would be clear to see which SA had taken a voucher when they shouldnt. In this financial climate i would be hitler-esk in my acceptance aswell, if the numbers have to be thinned out i wouldnt want my name near the top !!

  • While im still being kept awake by youngest, pls can anyone recommend any teething remedies? Have tried bonjella, anbesol, powders of some sort in a blue and white box (cant remember name at mo) all with not much luck. The poor mite keeps wanting to feed cause she needs to rub her gums

Hi i saw THIS the other day, never seen it b4, thought it was a really good idea! Ive got a 6 month old so I'll probs be gettin one soon. x
  • Jazzteddy has had a fair share of glitches and bargains.:j
That is why we all check MSE and this thread, so that we can stretch our pennies a little further. :)
So no finger pointing from me, but people should be able to have their say.
    ...I love a bargain...a glitch...a coupon or voucher...a BOGOF...a freebie...extra points, etc.
I wouldn't clear the shelves and leave nothing for others to find,
but I am 100% guilty of wanting to make my cash go a little further.....and I hope that other bootsters manage to do the same.
We are customers after all and boots want us to spend our money in their stores.
So to quote JPop ...lets all GO FORTH AND BOOTS.
..and get back to being the helpful, friendly, enthusiastic bunch of forum members that we all are.

    And while I am here...
    Happy Valentines to all :heartsmil
    Happy Birthday to Agathamisty
    ((Hugs)) for Popkins
Mimi...go use that pout boy...and get yourself a valentines hottie!
And a big thanks to everyone here for all your help and advice.:)

Like yourself, I don't want to beatify SS (beautify perhaps ;)) but I do enjoy her posts :)

Don't you have to be the Pope to do that?? :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I'm incredibly thick - I didn't even twig that the OP meant Sandra Scarlett - I thought "SS" meant Self Service (tills) :rotfl: !!

Lol!!!! :rotfl:As bad as me thinking that half price P & P is post and packing on .com!!!!

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: And isn't that the nice thing about this thread that we can and do laugh at ourselves. Both of these posts really made me laugh out loud.

(I know I shouldn't start sentences with And, but it seemed ok after the smilies)
