I know this will be an unpopular view, and that SS is revered as a god-like figure here, and that I am probably making myself 'persona non gratis' on this forum, but lets try to see it from the other side of the fence too.
we don't take advantage of Mr B, most of us spend way, way more money than is healthy there (and way more than the average shopper), so the odd glitch now and then is our reward
if you worked in retail you would know that people like us actually keep boots profits up, and they are well aware of that.
building brand loyalty is worth more than losing a few pence on something to big companys!!0 -

If it's any consolation I've taken an A4 sized voucher in to a store before today - and didn't even have the option of blaming OH as I printed it!:rotfl:
It did raise a giggle or two among the SA's though (probably because the ink used cost about the same as the saving) But have fun lol.

Nice weekend, all girls:heart2: :smileyhea
Quite a few of us don't get these mailings, so it's a bit hit and miss unfortunately. Make sure you're signed up to the Health Club or Parent's Club etc (if applicable) and you might just get luckyhth

mmm Have you asked yourself how many SA's take advantage of these glitches too? These work out cheaper for them too with their staff discount on top.0 -

Yep, it's Business Studies!
VS, I respect everyone's points of view, and their opinions are no less, or more important than mine. I write as I speak, and if people get pleasure from my postings, I am pleased, because I get an enormous amount of pleasure recounting my outings.
If others are bored stiff, they can always say "Oh no, it's another post from SandraScarlett, and I'd rather eat my own liver than read that", and just scroll down.
My first instinct on reading your post was to wonder what I had done to upset you? Then I read a post from OP and I couldn't work out why they had quoted your post, and then referred to Mitchum vouchers, and GWPs without a purchase. What was this all about?
And then I read some of your previous posts, quite recent ones. And then the penny dropped ....................
Knowing I am going to read the posts, was there a reason why you referred to me as being viewed as a Godlike person? I believe you had posted that you liked this board because it was so friendly.
Well, I'm sorry if I have misunderstood you, but I don't exactly feel bathed in your Milk of Human Kindness. But if it makes you feel better, please explain why you felt such a critical post, and not a PM, was necessary.

Oh my goodness I'd love that to be in a store ANYWHER near me - would be a real treat and a mega bargain after what has turned into an awful day here - my nana has passed away! She was nearly 95yrs old so a good long life but still incredibly sad - she'd be even sadder that I am nowhere near Newcastle to go and bag that bargain on her behalf mind you! bless my nana!
Hi Popkins,
Sorry for the loss of your Nana, sounds like your Nana was a Bootsing type of girl, oh how I wish my Nana was still around, she would have loved Bootsing :rotfl: she always took me posh shopping in the West End of london dashing about here and there but always bagged a bargain, just like the wonderful SandraScarlet.
Take care Popkins my thoughts are with you
