Is this the green handwash, and if so was it on a clearance stand or marked down on SEL?0 -
oh yeah, also by the NO 7 stand was a clearance stand with quite a large size P&P body serum reduced from 24.50 to 12.25, handy if you've got a £5 off P&P acm voucher
Oh my goodness I'd love that to be in a store ANYWHER near me - would be a real treat and a mega bargain after what has turned into an awful day here - my nana has passed away! She was nearly 95yrs old so a good long life but still incredibly sad - she'd be even sadder that I am nowhere near Newcastle to go and bag that bargain on her behalf mind you! bless my nana!0 -

True but then if there was no glitches, points etc to tempt us into Boots in the first place very few of us would probably go in as most things we could probably get fairly cheap online or from the supermarket whilst doing out weekly/monthly shop anyway?
Most of us Bootsers are so addicted we go in and buy stuff just for points and blinkies etc. I doubt very much there are many people that rave on about dare I say it Sup**d**gs like we do about Boots.
Despite growing up and always having Woolworths about (until now) I found some of their stuff to be overpriced and even with the odd offer it wasn't enough to tempt me in alot of the time because I would be going out of my way to go there. Whereas I will usually pay a bit more for something in Boots as I'm getting extra blinkies or something.
It's sad Woolworths is no longer here anymore but they clearly had the wrong people marketing for them amongst other things. Boots well - their marketing people get it right every time (imo).Tesco points: 101 (£21.50, £19.50, £7.50, £21 & £5)
Boots points: £0.28
Pigsback points: 715 (4 xBoots£10 & 1 xPizzaHut£10, 2 x £10 clothing vouchers)
Mutual points: 3417 (redeemed 8250)
Rpoints:redeemed 28925 points)Cashbag:£8.91(£20)0 -

Thats all fine and fair enough, but as the S&G voucher does not specifically say facial skincare, or exclude minis with its use, its really down to S&G and Boots to sort it between themselves is it not?
There have been quite a few posts on this thread, where customers haven't been able to use the S&G on minis, but the SA hasn't attempted to talk over and belittle their customer in the process.0 -

Does this mean that if you buy the P&P body serum for 12.50, you can then use the £5 off P&P voucher from ACM and still get a GWP?
By the way Sandra - you are a LEGEND!
Thank you so much for your kind words! I took the opportunity to share a taxi with another POG (Poor Ol' Gel!) and leave the festivities at the 40th Birthday Do. Cos (a) My feet in their non-bunion accommodating shoes were killing me (2) The music was much too loud!! (3) I got a bit fed up with drunk men in the 40s and 50s, acting like they were God's Gift To Women and being obnoxious and (d) I am too old!!
Yep, the P & P deal works like this. For some reason, known only to Mr B, The till "thinks" you are buying a full price £24.50 item, so let's you have a GWP - and I believe OP got three of these a week or 2 ago.
It then deducts the 50%, plus 10% if you're over 60, you then hand in your points coupon first if you have one (from a previous GWP), then hand in your £5 from the ACM.
So, if you were just buying the P & P Serum, but had a £5 voucher, and if you were a young flower of tender years, well, under 60, you'd pay £12.25, less £5 equals £7.25.
If you were a POG, you would pay £11.02, less £5, equals £6.02, so it's a great saving.

So do you think they will be able to scan my A4 size vouchers or have to input the barcode manually, while laughing their socks of:rotfl:.You laugh because I'm different......I laugh cause I just farted!
Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt. (A.C)0
