Oh my goodness I'd love that to be in a store ANYWHER near me - would be a real treat and a mega bargain after what has turned into an awful day here - my nana has passed away! She was nearly 95yrs old so a good long life but still incredibly sad - she'd be even sadder that I am nowhere near Newcastle to go and bag that bargain on her behalf mind you! bless my nana!
I am so sorry to hear about your loss Popkins x

Just a quick note.
I was in Dundee High Street Boots today and noticed a SEL with S&G GWP for £1.23.
This was the ones which were available at Christmas and I'm sure had 5 mini's in them.
So..... I'm sure you know what is coming, yes there was none on the shelf so I couldn't try it, but that would mean 2 GWP with 10 mini's for £2.46 - £2 voucher so 46p or even less if they went through 3 for 2.
Like I said there was none on the shelf but it's worth, while keeping an eye out just in case.
*Waves to any Dundee Bootsers around before going*
PS Sandra how was your night out ?
PPS I'm so sorry to hear about the posters Nan passing away. I hope you have many a tear laughing so loudly at the mischief and good memories she has left you with.0 -
Hi Sandra
sorry your night didn't go to plan, but happy your bootsing day did.. I guess you were a teacher then or similar.. well done :A xxx
Yes, my main subject was BS, my second was Careers, and I loved it. Sure, I had ups and downs from time to time, but we all have that, whatever job we do. Don't suppose Gordon Brown wakes up each morning singing "If you're happy and you know it clap your hands".

Glasgow St Enochs center are selling them for £4.89! They come up on the till and on my reciept as S&G Admit it GWP
I used £2 voucher on it a few days ago, but was refused it today, in the same store as well!0 -
so, if the P+P body serum is recognised by the tills at full price to get the GWP, then we need to find some other clearance soon for half of the £18 spend eg £9 - is there anything else .. I've only heard about the lip care on here + even 2 of them don't reach the £18 mark... just playing with ideas lol:hello:

Cos (a) My feet in their non-bunion accommodating shoes were killing me (2) The music was much too loud!! (3) I got a bit fed up with drunk men in the 40s and 50s, acting like they were God's Gift To Women and being obnoxious and (d) I am too old!!
Yep, the P & P deal works like this. For some reason, known only to Mr B, The till "thinks" you are buying a full price £24.50 item, so let's you have a GWP - and I believe OP got three of these a week or 2 ago.
It then deducts the 50%, plus 10% if you're over 60, you then hand in your points coupon first if you have one (from a previous GWP), then hand in your £5 from the ACM.
So, if you were just buying the P & P Serum, but had a £5 voucher, and if you were a young flower of tender years, well, under 60, you'd pay £12.25, less £5 equals £7.25.
If you were a POG, you would pay £11.02, less £5, equals £6.02, so it's a great saving.
xx
hi sandrascarlett:D another great shopping list today. Well done hun:T
Is this right: WYB the 1/2 price P&P the till lets you have 2 GWP? WY use the £5 off £25 voucher in the same transaction, the till thinks you have spent £25 (not £12.50)or have I got that wrong and need to spend another £12.50 approx, for the voucher to work? TIA:D0 -

Yes that's the one, I couldn't remember the name of it for the life of me. Still a good bargain as a gift for £2.89 then again 5 minis with the voucher is only £1 and the packaging just gets thrown in the bin so not worth the extra £1.89.0 -

And I certainly don't feel that the use of even an ACM voucher, should be met with disdain, and even rudeness, which loads of posters have found. Do you?
And with my bunions, and non existent 60s eyebrows, I am far from Godly!!! Just an OAP who is trying to get the best value for money that she can, and s-t-r-e-t-c-h her pension, like elastic.
Sandra you have a lovely way with words and never seem to get ruffled , how do you do it? But i think you have hit the nail on the head regarding rude Sas, there is no need for raising voices, condecension etc etc, politeness costs nothing and uses a lot less energy than being sweet;). There is a real doll of an sa in my local and every time i get a questionaire thingy i allways mention her by name even if she hasnt helped me that day. I just say how helpful she is cause she deserves to be praised for doing a fantastic job, over and above what her job description requires. She has even helped me to find products to make up minimum spend exactly:D.You laugh because I'm different......I laugh cause I just farted!
