I have not had a problem with sensitivity to other eye makeup before but a bit bothered now as it is quite sore. Can anyone recommend a good concealer that's for sensitive skin or that they have found to be gentle?
I haven't had any reactions to this product but mine has started to smell horrid just a couple of months after buying it.very disappointed!0 -
Shirlgirl2004 - High Chelmer is a much busier store I reckon, so as you say, probably got through them quicker. There is a 4 shelf stand near the double doors oppersite Topshop full of clearance No 17. Theres also loads of wrapping paper for 20p nearby!! HTH x0

Decided to pop into Boots at Fort Birmingham yesterday as I'd never been...was impressed when I walked in as it was huge.
However I ended up leaving a bit disappointed
- couldn't find any reduced/clearance shelves anywhere
- found the L'Oreal Mens Anti-Fatigue set, but it scanned at full price
- found the Gillette Putting set, but after the L'Oreal set scanned at full price on SS tills and I had to get SA to void it, I chickened out of scanning this as couldn't really remember what the offer was
- tried one of the new No7 handbag mirrors with the blinkie but wouldn't scan so SA voided that too
- After getting flustered on the SS tills, first time ever used them, I walked out without my AC! Luckily I realised as soon I was out of the shop so ran back in, and SA had put it in the tilll...:A
For anyone looking, there were about 5 or so of the Gillette putting sets, on a display at the end of the aisle where the normal Gillette products are.
Also they have the full range (I presume) of the new No7 accessories - lots of nice things, but agree with OP's that they have put prices up...
Oh and then to finish off my eventful trip, it took me 55 minutes to get out of the car park!!!
Oooh. Might have to try and pop over one night this week.0 -

I've not used the No7 concealer but had the same problem with YSL touche eclat. It took ages to work out what was making my eyes sore, it was like excema, I eventually nailed it down to the concealer. Mine is a few monnths old and smells awful - it's rather musty so it might not be a problem exclusive to No7. I'm going to wash the brush part tonight and see if that makes it smell better. It can't make things worse as I can't use it at the moment so nothing lost.0 -
Hit Crown Point LEEDS today. Not much to be had (got the impression from all the empty spaces above reduced SELS that other Bootsers had already beaten me to it (well done to you:D ).
Best bargain on Meal Deals:
2 x Fanta (BOGOF)
1 x Triple Sandwich (reduced to 70p)
1 x Galaxy Block (big 125g!)
Total to pay: £1.97 + registered as Meal Deal on AC.
Did above twice & made up to £5 to earn Wrinklie with 4 x Botanics Cleansing Sponge @ 62p (BOGOHP)
Naked Rice Body Wash @ 98p

Most of the reduced No7 that i'd been using Blinkies on in Albion Street for around £2** each, priced here at £5 each:eek:

I got eczema from the YSL pen too. I was told it was because you need to wash the brush on the pen regularly.
In Longwell Green Bristol branch they had 2 types of brilliant brunette reduced to just over a quid so I got 2 bottles for about 50p with the voucher.0 -

Any product with a brush applicator will need to have the brush cleaned regularly as bacteria and dirt will build up on the brush, hence the smell after a while. I use a facewipe to quickly clean the brush every other day and then about once a fortnight (or more often if i remember and have the time) soak the brush in hot water with a bit of shampoo mixed into it. I'm sure there's a better way of doing it but this has worked for me so far. I've been caught out before when i didn't clean the brush and the smell was disgusting:eek: If you don't want the hassle of a brush applicator benefit boi-ing is fantastic and you can just apply by (clean)hand.

I have been buying No 7 for more years than I care to remember and recognise the shape of the new GWP. They have made this bag before but it was made of a strong shiny plastic material than (Think it was a pearly/cream colour) I used it for years until the hinges eventually gave in.
Many of the recent GWP have been of poor quality, especially the paper handbag of last summer and the smelly gold bag of Christmas time. So its nice to see that Boots have improved the bags.
I still have a few of my old ones floating around. I have taken a piccy (for those that are interested) of the oldest one that I have. Its black patent leather and measures 8"x8" (20cm x 20cm) with an expansion of 3.5" . It has a press fastener on the inside, so its like a mini handbag. This bag is (I am guessing) 12 to 15 years old and it is still going strong.
I have taken a piccy of it with the new bag to compare sizes.
Do any of the older 'Bootsers' remember either of these 2 bags?~ What goes around comes around ~0 -
goodness me:rotfl: , i ahvent been here for ages, hello to everyone.
i went my first bootsing since new year days yesterday:eek: i wanted to use £5off no7 r&m voucher, i bought no7 suncream reduced 5.15 so paid 0.15.
bought s&g hand food 342, used £2 vocuher from grab bag from sale, plus 100points ACM voucher.
i have looked last 10 pages, but cant see if HE 100points still on or not? is there other exciting glitches around yet, what have i missed:D0 -
Got another No7 GWP and all the ones I looked were with the code 31111 478 (which when purchased previously did not have the 250pts vouchers in them)... was quite tired of searching so decided to take the GWP only to find @ home there was a pts voucher!!! :T
So apologies if this has been posted but it looks like some of the GWPs with the above code do bring the pts vouchers!0
