Got the new gwp this afternoon with mascara and eyeliner - just over £13 with blinkie. I love it.
I am tempted by the new limited edition stuff - the eyeshadow colours look much nicer in real life than on the photo, and I really like the look of the 3 colour blushers. Question is, do I use blinkies to get them for just over £5 or do I buy 2 together to get another gwp? Decisions, decisions ...

Can anyone please tell me whether you can only use the ACM vouchers once, or can you use them again the next day/ same day? Does that make sense? So, I used £5 off P&p today, will it be available again for me to use or is that it now? Thank you!!0

The same ACM vouchers seem to be available for me to print off every day I go into the store, so I think yours will be the same- more P&P for you then eh?

Heh, you've done well today - I only made it to Princes Street (twice - both before and after work).
I might try the Fort or the Gyle tomorrow afternoon since I have no classes, will see how I feel. Gyle might make more sense, it's a while since I've been there (and, um, Monday since I was last at the Fort).0 -

I was in Edinburgh by 8:30am and had hoped there would have been the 75% off sale.

Angie100 it was the small store in bedminster, they were all on the shampoo shelf as soon as you walk in the store on the right hand side. Also by the till by the no 7 stand was a clearance shelf with lots on 17 limited edition eye pallete and lots of soltan suncream from £2-4. A few other things on that shelf too but was so excited i couldn't take it all in.
Just remembered some wilkinson sword razors 8 pack for £3.odd but didn't need these. All of this was about 15:00 and the staff were lovely and told me about the new voucher (wrinklie) hth
I was there yesterday and got 7 HE and some of the 17 old gwps. I too was very excited and my DD has had a few of her girlfriends tonight and they are all going home with some HE and 17 GWP. I have yet to meet a fellow MSER in Boots. Sorry I missed you but if I go there again I will look out for a lady with lovely hair!!0 -
rose28454 don't usually shop in boots in Bristol, me and OH work there but live the other side of the bridge now, so normally Newport for me, but I loved it! Might have to start de-touring?!? on my way home from work me thinks. :T
Would loves to see a MSER bootser too(mind you i'd probably stick out like a sore thumb and spend hours if i tried to do a proper list lol!0 -
Evening all. :hello: After having 3 hours sleep last night (it just wouldn't happen, and DH's snoring nearly got him murdered!) I wasn't exactly bright eyed and bushy tailed this morning, but we dulyor dutifully set off this morning a-Bootsing.
First we went to Lakeside, and as the Bluewater connection was waiting we went there first, and walked straight into Catgate! On the back wall there was a huge sign saying "90% Sale", and tastefully arranged were about 10 boxes of wrapping paper, some calendars, acid yellow plastic cc holders, and dozens of cat mugs.
I didn't like the mugs at £8, and didn't want them at 80p, but a woman was putting loads into her basket, so I said "Easy to see that you're fond of cats!" She replied "I bought 2, but they've gone through at 20p - I don't know why they're charging me that, but I'm getting more at that price".
Well, I knew what had happened - the till was deducting 90%, and then also deducting another 75%! Loads of women who had never lusted after a cat mug started filling their baskets too.;) They stampeded over to the nearest till, photography, with Mrs Cat first, lugging her basket of mugs and they refused her, and said they were £1.95, and then followed a huge row.
People were demanding that they too got the mugs for 20p, others were shouting that the 3 for 2 signs were still showing all over the shop for No7, and they should honour them, assistants were tearing down signs saying 90% and the Cat Lady was going blue in the face.
I could understand her getting cross if they'd been No 7 P & P cases, blimey, we'd have got them for about £1.25!!!! I left them all to it, and wandered hither and thither.
Found a selection of odds and sods on clearance, used the last of my Blinkies, and agree that Wrinklies is far more apt than Winkies or Shminkies!!!!
The SS tills were being guarded by an SA with a look on her face that said woe-betide-you-if-you-try-anything, so we didn't dilly-dally. After I'd got a raging headache, trying to work out our combinations, less the over 60s 10% discount, I finally got my GWP, and isn't it gorgeous!
And the lovely little pink slip inside saying 250 points is even more gorgeous! So in Boots logic, you can deduct in your head another £2.50 from whatever you've spent to get the GWP! Which always makes us feel better!
Dee produced a couple of torn and dog-eared Blinkies that had got wet from her umbrella, and we found No 7 Compact mirrors with cases, which I haven't seen elsewhere, so got those as well, which with the Help The Aged discount cost nothing. :j
Very little to get excited over at Lakeside, apart from our cheap lunch (!) but hit paydirt in Canary Wharf, where they had lots of stuff on Clearance, and managed to get another GWP each. We limped onto the train, and 2 beefy men took the last seats, so I put on my Poor Old Woman face, and they said "E R" which is cockney for "Here you are ladies".
Just as well cos there was a signal failure and we were stuck there for 20 minutes, which was when we opened our GWPs, and espied the vouchers! Only just resisted the urge to break into "Oh Happy Day"!!
Grannyfying tomorrow, then Bond Street, Oxford Street, Piccadilly & Covent Garden on Friday. Phew - never thought I'd be so busy in my retirement!
