Well, after what seems like a lifetime of reading and trying to understand all of the lingo i finally managed to pluck up the courage to write my first post about my amazing shop (i hope its right and i haven't done it wrong )

I was just visiting bristol for the day and persuaded my OH to go to a little boots where I spotted LOADS of reduced HE both the 200ml and 400ml. I/we (he carried it) picked up 17 of the 200ml both shampoo and conditioner for £7.odd and 1700 points and practically skipped out of the shop with so much excitement, oh and a wrinklie! The SA was lovely, think it was a manager as she was telling people what to do and not a normal boots uniform and informed me to stock up as these were 100 points each (as if i didn't check already with 17 bottles in my basket) :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

So finally a big thankyou to everyone for starting the bootsing mojo that i seem to have aquired and may try on friday for the lynx sets that are going on .com for 2 for £4.

Edit: p.s there were still approx 30-40 bottles left on the shelves when we left, didn't want to buy them all, well i did, but i didn't :rotfl:

Just a quick question when you seperate your goods into different shops to get the vouchers do you pay for them all at the same till or buy one or two lots then go back into the queue and pay again??

also how do you work it out how much each comes to do you all carry little calculators lol to work out each shop??

sorry for questions just trying to get into this bootsing lark hubby thinks i gone mad with the shampoo and conditioners lying around

lashes_1 - which Bristol store did you go to?? I was at Cribbs today and no reduced HE there. There was none in Broadmead yesterday either.

Nope, I've checked thoroughly, taken the cardboard out and everything Maybe there was a batch that went through without having the vouchers put in?

Angie100 it was the small store in bedminster, they were all on the shampoo shelf as soon as you walk in the store on the right hand side. Also by the till by the no 7 stand was a clearance shelf with lots on 17 limited edition eye pallete and lots of soltan suncream from £2-4. A few other things on that shelf too but was so excited i couldn't take it all in.

Just remembered some wilkinson sword razors 8 pack for £3.odd but didn't need these. All of this was about 15:00 and the staff were lovely and told me about the new voucher (wrinklie) hth

I take one lot of shopping to the tills (£5 at a time - a wrinklies worth ) then go back and get some more. I use SS tills as well, then just ask the SA for my wrinklie, as I've spent over £5.

For £5 worth, I can now mentally work out how many of an item I need to buy - but only since I've been Bootsing! I'm going later this week to do a £20 spend, with all sorts of vouchers, and I will be taking a calculator with me, to add all that up, as it will be all in dribs and drabs (discounted, clearance, HE etc).
