snipped....(to the person who mentioned that they are diabetic and need sugar free drinks I think the majority of Boots own drinks are sugar free...such as cloudy lemonade, ginger beer, flavoured waters etc etc).
Thanks Nuninge, that was me. I'll be checking out the Boots own drinks, I've never noticed them before.
  • Unfortunately, you can't use a blinkie with electrical, which includes the heated eyelash curler and the pedicure set

    Hi Belly dancer:hello:

    I used this combo today:
No7 Pedicure set (was £14.67, half price till sunday) @ £7.33p
    P&P lipcare @ £8.60p
    No7 gwp @ £0.00
Gave in £5 off P&P ACM voucher, 1 blinkie and 250 points wyb any No7 skincare voucher.
Total to pay was £5.93p and 278 points back.
    Total saved was £17.34p

This will work with other No7 half priced electricals too.
I did this twice to get 2 x gwp. The till did not beep at all.
You are right though as the blinkie does not work on electricals, so you have to buy another No7 item to use it.
Both vouchers are used wyb the P&P product, which is why you can get the P&P lipcare for free with both vouchers. HTH.:)

    Well done you!!!!:T

I live in Edin but I am going to shop at Glasgow Fort tom - if they have any HE and perfume sets I am going to do something similar. I have been waiting for them to reduce these sets but this is better as you can still use the shampoo - I feel like giving you a big hug. Do you need vouchers for the HE? TIA.

No, you don't need a voucher. You'll get the points added automatically at the till. But check the offer is still running before you buy a huge pile of HE...I had a look at the "100 points when you buy HE" sign and I thought it had an expiry date of today on the offer. Might of course have been the start day for another month of offer because we all thought this offer was stopping yesterday.

Also don't forget to split it up into batches to get yourself extra skin/haircare vouchers, if you want them. 12 bottles at 44p = £5.28. ;)
    Val.

I would return the eye gel for a refund and explain it was only to take the spend over £18 but it was not required as their SEL was wrong!!

If she does this, she should be prepared to be told "no" as they generally don't refund cosmetics (unless you've had a reaction or it's a sealed giftset). I'm not saying she shouldn't try, but to just be prepared for it to possibly not go her way.

Another option would be if they say "no" to the refund, ask if you can be refunded and buy *the same item* back with something else that will put the spend over 18 quid for another gwp. If all that fails, it may be the most she could get out of them is getting refunded the difference of what the p&p serum said on the shelf label and what she was charged.

I'd probably just let it go, honestly, as I've had enough of the stress of arguing points at Boots. But if she's fresh to the fight (as a newbie) she might feel up to it, lol. And she may just get her way, with a friendly SA or manager.

just had a play on .com and i added 2 perfect pedicures to my basket which totaled 14.67 and it gives the gwp so it looks as if it takes the electricals at full price
