Dont know how you got all this as i wanted sky+ and installation for free but as i didn't have BT connection sky wouldn't pay the £125 fee so i threatened to cancel they said ok and promptly cancelled my sky !! not very happy as others seem to be getting a lot more than i asked for - you must be a very lucky person

Hi there

I am moving to a new house in a couple of weeks time. I want to get Sky+, plus also use them for broadband and skytalk inc. line rental. I have been staying with my parents for a while, so I don't have any existing contracts with anyone else.

I can't seem to find a good deal where I can get a good price on Sky+, does anyone know of any good current deals? I'm not interested in the Sky +HD one.
Do I need to pay £125 to reconnect the phone line via BT as well? It's a rented property and someone else has recently moved out of it, so it's not like it's a new phone line or anything.

At the time of ordering they where doing a serperate deal on Sky talk and Sky broadband and where offering free line connection, when i phoned that day they did say that offer was the last day so i guess thats why!

But saying that i have had more trouble then its worth at the moment, they installed Sky + and activated it and all then i waited and waited for a phone call as told to get the line activated only to be told that they got the address wrong and couldn't find it (didn't think of phoning me to ask) so they cancelled the frickin order!!! =@ Phoned up yesterday and had a right argument with them as they wouldn't honor the 'Three for Three month offer' even though i had confirmation already through etc so having to write a stinking complaint at the moment to get this all sorted out, but they are still installing the line for free as agreed.

Am i right on believing that if i have had confirmation to the agreed deal of the 'Three for three month offer' they have to stand up to it over wise there going against there own agreed terms?

my oder was placed on 27th jan, received email for confirmation , was told installation date 6th feb.
no-one turned up, when i enquired was told that it had been cancelled. no explanation given.
despite sending emails about this, matter has not been resolved, when contacting via phone , i was just told offer not available now

I placed the order in Jan using the code for free SKY+ box and installation (just got it installed last weekend and am really impressed with it I was told then (on Sky chat) that this order doesnt qualify for M&S vouchers, but now I noticed my 50 quid cashback was crossed out and replaced with ZERO!!!
I submitted a claim, but was wondering if anyone else had the same problem?

We have sorted a deal with Sky for MSEers that missed out on the last one but it hasn't been able to get us the details in time for this week's email. Hold on a bit longer and it'll be in the email next week.
