Has anyone not had their order accepted? The reason I ask is that I’ve received this from Sky this morning….. I’m going to ring them when I get home from work but just wondering in the meantime

Just contacted their customer services and my online order has been cancelled and the advisor couldn't tell me why! Not a happy bunny. He said he has received a lot of calls like mine. I said I had the order reference number and he said it meant nothing as the order has been cancelled after receiving it and also said I should order on the phone as it's the safest way to do so. He said he would process my order but I would be charged for the sky+ so I said thanks but no thanks. I can't believe it! grrrr :mad:
Scrap this..... I rang the number on my last email and they have just booked it in for next Saturday. Whooppeeeee0 -

OH, it was well worth it for us!! We live in a craphole where our outside earial dont even work so we couldnt even pick up proper normal tele!! We use a plug in earial and if someone in the building decided to use the hoover it would interfere!! Was such a huge pain to not be able to even have freeview. We'd be left with no tv once the whole of UK gone digital!!0

I have to say this though, I applied for Sky online, saw this offer, called them up, they changed it straightaway to Sky+ (this was before installation) and gave me all the perks that were on the website (this was before the offer was later withdrawn).
However what really impressed me was that Sky gave me a date of 2 February for installation. This was the date where everything was snowed under in London and my street was literally a hazard - still they called me on time in the morning, gave me an appointment for the afternoon and turned up and installed everything for me in that bloody snow.
My experience with Sky is not rich, but from what I've seen so far, 10/10. I have seen a lot of complaints in here, but just thought I'd throw this in, they do get it right too, and amazingly so!Official DFW Nerd Club: Member No: 6190 -
Although Sky are offering the HD box for £49 I noticed yesterday that Comet are offering it for £29 instore.
