BM fixed rate ISA 4.2%

I agree with the previous comment I returned my transfer form to the Abbey yesterday requesting my ISA to be transferred to BM 4.2% 1Y Fixed ISA.
If the cut off date is 23/02/09 and they are allowed 30 days to arrange this then I'm not too optimistic particularly as Abbey are renowned for being slow.
But you never know maybe they'll surprise me

I was told by BM that if they don't receive the funds by cut off time, they write to let you know. I asked what would happen if the cut off date had passed and BM then received the transferred funds. If this happens, again they write to ask you what you want doing with the funds. I wish the powers that be would make these companies get their act together with transfers and make a compulsary transfer time limit, rather than a guideline, which most of them flout.0 -
How do you know where to send the transfer form too?
I am transferring from Egg so I haven't a clue where to send to form to! (like a direct address)0 -
Has anyone successfully opened this with cash from their defunct Icesave ISA and can clarify the forms that are required?
Is a copy of the ISA reinstatement certificate sufficient or do I have to risk losing the original?
Are any other transfer forms required?0 -

BM withdrew this account on Tuesday (from memory). If you got your application form back to them by then, they should open the account. Funds have to be with them by 23 February. I should give them a ring to establish process for ex Icesave funds.0 -
Ah well, looks like I've missed out on this one, haven't received my form from them yet
This is getting addictive!

Top marks mate for pointing this one out! THANK YOU. :T
I had been waiting to find a decent home for my icesave money; and as soon as I read your post, I was off! Managed to get the 4.2% rate just in time!
I am so pleased to have preserved my isa wrapper on a large amount - Good on ya mate!
I love this web site - What a team eh!:money:

Ring em up when you've received the forms (I did) They told me that as long as they had received the forms/money by the 23 February, they will honour the 4.2% that is mentioned on the application form. They were true to their word with me.0 -

I've successfully opened one with icesave dosh.
Just send original icesave isa reinstatement certificate.... application form.... transfer form..... and cheque ALL to BM. But be quick. I requested all the forms by ringing them up.
I took a photocopy of my icesave isa reinstatement cert. just incase.0 -
Thanks Goldfinger. Exactly what I needed to know. I already have the forms so fingers crossed it'll be plain sailing from here.0
