I post with great trepidation cos you all seem to like kicking sh*** out of each other.
Today signed online for Telephone broadband gas & LX with Utility Warehouse. I am with E.ON for gas & LX have a DD of £70. Moneysaving EXPERT I will never be, but maybe I'll save a bit. Pipex is £24.99 a month up to 8 meg which is never anywhere near. Then the BT line rental. So I will get my BB for 19.99 +VAT a month & all my landline calls including France free.
I have been reading the threads about Utility Warehouse & wow it was next to pointless. I have absolutely no idea which is the best deal cos both sides quote their own proofs. Both of which require degrees in mathematics to follow. Oh & comparison sites!!! off peak charges, eco 7, charges if you have double tog duvet charges, I do not understand any of it.
So I will lick my finger (index finger) put it in the air, test the wind, & hope.
lots of love to you all

It's £19.99 per month including VAT, lacanox, so even better than you thought. And, yes, the free 24/7 calls to France (I'm assuming you have relatives there?) is a great bonus IMO.Call me Carmine....

Plushchris wrote: »So what would happen if you loaded £200 onto the card and then UW went into recievership? Would you get that money back or would you be in the same position as people with Zavvi gift vouchers?
What would happen if you crossed the road tomorrow? Would you definitely get run over? What if all this money given by the Govt to the banks doesn't work and the country goes bust? Would you get the money back you'd invested in your bank that had also gone bust? Your 'argument' illustrates that the cashback card is a GOOD IDEA, judging by the scraping of the worst case scenario barrel going on.Admit it, if you shopped regularly at Sainsburys, joining UW and using the card would save you money on your utility bill. Yes? No?
