We're going for 2 weeks! My DS is an adrenaline junkie so I'll come home feeling like I've been in a washing machine for 2 weeks! Good thing is, we'll be up and about on the theme park all day everyday, so I can eat the nice stuff at the buffet and then work it all off!!! Anyone else ever been??
I'm just hoping we can have some fun and lose weight along the way! Is everyone following a certain plan or just using the calorie thing? I'm doing a certain plan, and so far it seems to work..... I'll give it a while before I recommend it (as it does seem too good to be true!!) Fingers crossed!!
Hope everyone has a great day♥.0 -
Have a great fortnight then!
I am following Rosemary Conley AND tracking my food on Calorie Count, I ahve the problem that if I am stressed, ill, happy etc I STOP eating and my metabolism was thrown for a loop by medication on a regular basis (still is), if I don't eat near my correct number of calories I put weight on!Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

Oh no =(
Well here's hoping we can keep you cheerful and eating through troubled times!!
I've never done the Rosemary Conolley one, tried the Slimming World (lost a couple of pounds but found it really odd) and Weight Watchers (lost 3.5 stone, got complacent and wacked it all and more back on!)♥.0 -

That's a tough call! You've done really well to lose so much already then.

I know it's not Feb yet, but i decided to start trying to be healthy! i love that calorie counting site!! I have had a horrible suprise when i realised on Monday that my drinks (coffee, coke etc) take me up to half (yes half!!) of my calorie intake per day!! eek! So i am limiting myself to a coffee per day (don't want caffeine withdrawl symptoms lol) and instead drinking water/squash.. already i have lost 2lbs.. hmm never realised that on the back of cans the figures they quote are for 100ml..not the 330 in the can.. Now i have a horrific cold, so will have to avoid snacking on bad things! Dragon i totally understand re not eating when stressed i do it particularly when i'm upset, but i also switch the other way and eat lots when i get angry! Add to that i've got a underactive thyroid so i'm up/down all the time!! Sorry for the rambling post, was just so pleased to have discovered where alot of my kcal's are coming from!! Hope everyone's ok xxAugust: £149/£150
Sept: £200

I'd like to try for Feb. I was a bit half hearted about Jan...kept having to eat up the Christmas sweets left in the cupboard, but I'm heavier than I've ever been right now and it's got to go. I'm doing WW (without the meetings...can't afford 'em). I did it a while ago and lost 3 stone, but whapped it all back on. Time to start again!Drop half a stone for January challenge.
