    I used to cook my fish separately, then got lazy and threw it in the hot parsley sauce, whacked the potato on top and bob into the oven.

    Perfect!

    Thats what we are having tomorrow night for supper :)

    Ditto - even use the same recipe! Probably wouldn't bother if I had to faff with poaching all the fish first.

    I use the same recipe as LondonDreamer and cleggie! It gets another vote from me - yummy!

    Another vote for the Jamie Oliver recipe - I add some creme fraiche to the fish - it makes a lovely sauce. I think that was another Jamie recipe??

    hi all.
    i am making fish pie for dinner but have just realised (after defrosting the fish) that i dont have any potatoes!

    What else do you think would taste Ok to top it with? Rice maybe?
