    at Christmas i has 2-3 parcels from boots, but still got to know the hdnl guy, he always made sure he attacked both front and back doors and nxt doors, doors to leave the package!! so have faith HDNL are really good
    Last time I bought from Boots the driver just threw the package over the fence into our back garden because there was no-one in, so I haven't ordered from them again since.
    You don't get medals for sitting in the trenches.

    I was feeling really confident that I would receive my order placed on Thursday at 8.45am. After hearing all your stories I'm losing hope! I'm absolutely disgusted at the way that Boots are treating us. Surely telling us that we can't have items that we ordered at 75% off becaue they're out of stck but we can reorder them at full price is against trading rules? I'm sure Trading Standards would be very interested to hear about this. There's also Watchdog? How can they possibly claim something is out of stock when it blatantly isn't?

    I don't know about you but I'm feeling seriously agrieved at being taken for a ride by Boots just because their website can't handle it when they have a sale. I think I might ring Trading Standards on Monday and see what they say.

    I too am totally fed up with Boots and never managed to get an order through as site kept crashing. And my basket is full of items that they say are apparently out of stock!

    You may wish to call Consumer Direct (Trading Standards) 08454 04 05 06. I've just called and they are very interesed in misleading price changes! Open till 1pm today.

  • Just had a look in my basket and an soap and glory item that was in the 75% sale is now full price, how can they say they are out of stock of sale items when they are there full price.

    i placed my order for a few bits and bobs to put away for next xmas etc, paid for next day as i was a bit iffy about boots problems etc.... got order conformation and no oder yesterday boo hoo.... just got an email to say that they cant do next day for me and it will be here on monday... lets wait and see... didnt get any good mind you just a few odds and ends...nothing i wanted was left really, no gift sets for me or other half. one thing with boots i think you have to be in the right place at the right time and still it fails.

    I just checked & the sewingbox that was in the on-line sale is now full price (out of stock in my local store as it is a 'sale' item) :confused:

    Could not order on-line due to the constant crashing.
    I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.
  • i had my despatch email last night.....im a but wary about wether i'll get it delivered now and it seems fishy that they couldnt do your next day delivery....its in the news today that home delivery network are closing 7 depots with the loss of over 650 jobs....i wondser if after all the hassle of managing to order with boots i wqont get it because the delivery compant is going tits up
